Kaina largely isn't a mech show until later on in the story, so is their any more detail on the "Builder" robot that's used by Valghia?
It seems to be something of a lost technology like in Turn A Gundam (or for another Nihei work Blame!), but for a "Builder" unit it seems to have a lot of heavy laser power. Was it a construction unit that was modified? Or were the lasers part of some sort of demolition use?
On another note does anyone else think it somewhat resembles the Mass Production Eva from End of Evangelion?
