Anime Limited said on their FB page that a standard edition will be released - but only for the movie. The OVA series will be exclusive to the ultimate edition.

Thanks , I actually have a used dvd copy of Plus, and given the price , I'll stick with that.

I am waiting on Macross Zero's official release, which may be late this year or next year.

Well, it's officially next year... 10 February 2025 according to the just-posted preorder page.

It looks to be the same release that was previously put out in Japan with the AI-based enhancements.

We know he's not completely retired, he's doing new art for the Macross II: Lovers Again US Blu-ray box set at the behest of Animeigo.
