The Official Identify this Show Thread
The Official Identify this Show Thread
Since these threads keep coming up on their own anyway, I decided it was time to have one central location for them. If you have some show you're dying to have identified and don't know the name of, post about it here and see if people are able to help you with it.

Re: The Official Identify this Show Thread
Hey there is this show that used to come on cartoon network a long time ago it was about three guys. One wore a blue, one an orange and one another color anyways. Anyways they each would call up this girl in a satelite and she would beam down each of there different armors. One had Sea one had Land and one had Air. They would fight crime and stuff. I remember they used to say something when they called there robot type armor on. The girl in the satelite had a dog and it had a little armor suit too and it fought on some episodes. Thanks in advance.

Okay here's one. It was kinda in the vein of Real Ghostbusters or Transformers. The heroes were walking, talking dinosaurs that wore funky armor and had a secret base. That's about as much as I can remember, the details are really vague.

That might just be it. I was hoping that the show's name would be cooler than 'Dinosaucers.' Makes you wonder how some of this stuff got onto TV...

A Japanese anime that aired around the same time and share a similar genre as Chou Majin Eiyuuden and Pizza Cats in the early 90s. It features mechs from multiple countries, each shaped after their respective country's architecture and monuments. e.g pyramid or castle. The mechs duke it out in a competition of some sort.

Re: The Official Identify this Show Thread
I was watching an episode of MS Gundam Abridged the other day and they made some crack about a character screaming niisan!!!! over and over again and that sounds so familiar but I just can't quite place it.

Re: The Official Identify this Show Thread
probably a flashback scene from one of the Mobile Suit Gundam movies, where Sayla, uh, screams "niisan!" over and over again until you want to scrape your brain out of your skull with a claw hammer

no, the line I keep recalling in my head sounds like it.... ah I just remembered. It wasn't NIIsan, it was NEEsan. Remember what happens to Saji when he sees his sister's body in the morgue?

Uh, well, okay then.
I personally would have never made that connection at all given the polar opposite tones of the scenes in question, but whatevs.

Re: The Official Identify this Show Thread
From the dark depths of my memory: I had this cartoon movie on BetaMax tape. The only thing I can remember clearly was that it was a fantasy story and the opening scene (at least I think it was the opening scene). A bird (parrot?) is singing in a cage which is floating on a sea. Sorry, that's the best I got.

Okay, this was an American show. There were kids that hopped into cars, and their index fingers would turn into keys to start the car. Then, they transform with/into the car. It was early on so the CG was pretty poor. Thats all I got.
