(Gundam What If) What would the Universal Century would be like if the original Gundam anime didn't get cut so short?

For those of you who don't know, back when the original Gundam anime was supposed to run for 52 episodes before it tragically got cancelled after only 43 episodes, Amuro Ray, Char Aznable, Sayla Mars, Bright Noa, and Mirai Noa were supposed to get killed off during the Final Battle in the A Baoa Qu:

How do you guys think the rest of the Universal Century (including the Regild Century (1000 Years Later after the end of the Universal Century) and the Correct Century (10000 Years Later after the end of the Universal Century)) would be like if the original Gundam anime ended like THAT before it tragically got cancelled after only 43 episodes?

Hard to say really , I guess it depends on the version of the story. Depending on the script translation it seems most of the White Base crew dies or survives, that being said Amuro seems to survive in most of the televised scripts, I think he only died in the novelization.

I'm not sure there could actually have been any kind of a continuation with most of the original cast dead(granted a lot of sequels do this, but it's often on newer characters), It probably would have ended up like Zambot 3 ; a dark story, with a dark yet definitive conclusion.

It's also interesting to see some ideas that came from the original draft and were later recycled. For example a lot of the unused designs later made it into MSV and then Zeta/ZZ, The ship picking up Zeon refugees with a spy on board was later used in ZZ, the Newtype youth corps / mass Newtype lab concept would be refined in later series, etc.

Well ya think you can translate this version of the story? (Source: Mobile Suit Gundam Laserdisc Memorial Box (機動戦士ガンダム メモリアルボックス) (Release Date: December 18, 1998)):

It would take awhile, also I have Google Translate enabled on my computer (I'm not sure how) so that allows you to read the script in English (Roman), granted there may be translation issues.

Actually I'm looking for a translated version of this quick summary of the 52 episode script (which was originally from the "Mobile Suit Gundam Laserdisc Memorial Box"):

Well, here's the moment you've all been waiting for! A translated version of this quick summary of the 52 episode script (which was originally from the "Mobile Suit Gundam Laserdisc Memorial Box"): http://www.ultimatemark.com/gundam/arch ... omemo.html

BTW How do you guys think the rest of the Universal Century (including the Regild Century (1000 Years Later after the end of the Universal Century) and the Correct Century (10000 Years Later after the end of the Universal Century)) would be like if the original Gundam anime ran for 52 episodes as Tomino himself originally attended (according to the "Mobile Suit Gundam Laserdisc Memorial Box") before it tragically got cancelled after only 43 episodes?
