Take this with a grain of salt, but it would seem that Gundam Extreme VS Force for PS Vita might be getting a western physical release, according to Play Asia:

My concern is that it seems odd for Bandai Namco to release a game in retail format so long after the initial digital release, but perhaps Play Asia scored a deal with them for distributing. At this point all we can do is wait and see what happens.

Well, it's a mixed bag:

-Western support from 3rd party developers, as well as Sony's own studios, has basically stopped. There do are exceptions, such as the Bard's Tale Remastered which was ported to PS Vita last month.
-Japanese and indies studios are the ones that keep releasing games on a regular basis, both in digital and retail formats. Games like Danganronpa V3, Ys VIII, Utawarerumono 3, Summon Night 6 have been released in both formats in recent months.
-Aside Limited Run Games, which has been bringing retail releases for PS Vita games ranging from indies to Bandai Namco's Ray Gigant, some studios are also making late releases of games previously only available in digital format int he west, such as Axiom Verge and Velocity 2X. Play Asia has also been making US version of some PS Vita games, which they are selling as exclusives. Fangamer and Signature Games are also part of this list.

Anyway, probably the most relevant case form the above is Ray Gigant, which did saw a PS Vita physical release a long time after its original digital-only release in the west. So, there do is some hope for it turn out to be truth. In this particular case, I'm inclined to think that maybe it will be Play Asia itself the one that will publish the physical release.

Age 2 is not a surprise, given that the Zeydra was just announced and that both Zeydra and Age 2 are in Maxi Boost.

Murdrock also makes sense given its the rival pilot in Zeonic Front because Gerhart Schmitzer and his custom Zaku I were announced pretty recently too. Usually it tends to be 2 units per series, Scramble Gundam being the exception of course.

Also for anyone who missed it, it looks like we'll be getting the White Dingos' GM Sniper II soon, since they added a Rise from the Ashes section to the in-game encyclopedia.

At this rate I'm expecting to see either Side Story End of Flash units from Encounters in Space with RX78-4/5 and Action Zaku or 0081 units with RX78-7 along with RX-81 or Efreet Nacht. Most of the main OYW games have been covered now aside from Blue Destiny, which could also come back, but the Pale Rider already meets those units...

I personally am looking forward to Aegis and Raider when they arrive.
It kind of confuses me how blatantly Bandai-Namco are being with DLC.
But I guess on the other hand you don't have to buy EVERYTHING though.

There were a lot of series missing in Gundam Versus. And the returning ones from Full Boost/Maxi Boost played a little different too because of newer controls and more attack options. Some of the units that were new to Gundam Versus were ported back to Maxi Boost On. Brave wasn't in the game because 00S2 and 00 movie were not part of the series. Gundam Versus seems to be completely done now... Hasn't been any announcements of DLC units since Feb and Gundam Extreme 2 is also in the works for the arcades. Console wise, Gundam Versus was a side project that did not sell too well in JP and did pretty bad in the US due to lack of marketing and that it is a very niche game.

Secondly, a few units have actually been removed when compared to Maxi Boost ON. Probably to nobody's surprise, all the "alternate pilot" units like Kamille's Gundam Mk-II, Quatre's Wing Zero, Lacus' I-Justice, and such are gone. However, a few of the other not-quite-unique MS also got the axe: the Perfect Gundam, Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina, and both Ridden and Matsunaga's High Mobility Zakus are out. Additionally, a lot of the stuff introduced in Gundam Versus like the Gouf, GM Custom, GN-X isn't in either; the cast roll here is based primarily off of Maxi Boost ON, and they didn't really bother adapting any of the new stuff here.

Finally, we have a list of changes to existing units. This is pretty long and I did my best to be consistent, but I'm only human so please forgive any typos or other mistakes. This list was created by comparing the movesets from the official websites, supplimented with info from the still-spotty ExVs2 Wikia, so it's not comprehensive and I took guesses in a couple of places (that are clearly marked "Speculation"). Additionally, I don't have any hard data like damage numbers, frame data, etc. so please don't ask.
