HCM GN Archer needs to be assembled, which is pretty cruel for something that's apparently fixed-pose.

I don't know what this thing is, but looking at it's weight and the parts content at dalong.net it seems like this is the first Koto kit that's actually cheaper than the current Bandai releases in price/weight statistic. Just look at how many sprues there are.
It's Raiden of Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram, an arcade game. One of the series where Hajime Katoki is the mechanical designer.

Just wanted to share this IMHO very wellmade, intricrately detailled 1/100 00 Raiser.
I haven't seen other 00 Raiser kits that are so well crafted and minutely finished as the one above, including those showcased in DGHobby and HobbyJapan.

The modeller has many more high quality kits (i.e. 1/144 HGUC Gundam ver. Ka and 1/144 HG Aile/Sword/Cannon Strike) and a very viewer friendly page at:

Re: Model-Related Pictures and Links

According to this topic, there was a gold-plated Turn A.

Are there any other limited-edition MG's that Dalong's nigh-omnipotent finances were unable to claim?

MG Sword Impulse at Dalong.

A little odd that he didn't bother posing it with the swords combined.

Dunno if this was brought up before, but anyone notice the Excalibur handles on the MG Sword Impulse have been thinned out and fitted with slots for the hand plugs?

Is the lighting playing tricks on my eyes or did Dalong paint his Nu HWS in a darker shade of white?

Re: Model-Related Pictures and Links

It's not a painted kit, but it does seem that the HWS version has a slightly different plastic tone. Could just be bandai using a different color for the second release.

Re: Model-Related Pictures and Links

But it makes absolutely no sense to me. None of the production photos showed it as anything but the normal white. None of the ones shown here have the darker shade (except maybe the 3rd one), and I've been building the kit since last Thursday. It's as white as you can get unless I've gone color blind.

Also, look at the Dalong info page for the kit. You can notice the darker shade on the two new runners and the rest of the photos are re-used from the normal Nu. BUT, if you look at the runner group shot they're all in the same normal white.

The only explanation I can think of is that the very early releases got the darker mold by mistake.

nah I think there's some problem with either his camera,or lighting, that made the picture much darker.Maybe you can look at his straight built picture,it's much 'whiter'..

Re: Model-Related Pictures and Links

It does, but if you look at the photo of it and the original Nu side by side you can see some difference in color tone, plus the text under the photos translates to:
New Gundam HGUC compared with the existing.
I came to the HWS injection has been changed to the color a little ivory.

Re: Model-Related Pictures and Links

The pics of the HWS parts clearly show the parts are a different shade than the original Nu parts.

It loses half of its menacing aura with that color, IMO.
