It's a GM III of some kind. You can make out the duel antenna as well the longer "cheeks", for lack of a better word, that are found on the GM III (If you look at the head of the GM III you'll see what I'm talking about).

A big thanks for DeltasTaii & mcred23!!! Furthermore I updated the New MS Senki: Mobile Suit Gundam Short Story Collection section successfully - not only the implied GM. The chapter named South Indian Ocean waves U.C.0093 is also edited.

But now I present another contribution: :D

Mobile Suit Gundam Saigon 0081
Japanese title: 機動戦士ガンダム サイゴン0081
Story & Art: Takeba Shingo
Format: manga

Summary: In January U.C. 0080 the Earth Federation government announces an Zeon-mop-up-operation around the entire globe. In U.C. 0081 Anaheim Electronics delivers a new mobile suit prototype, the AX-C10 (C-10) Gundam-R type to the Earth Federation Forces. But Cannan, an insane; drug-addicted soldier, with nightmares from the African Front in the One Year War hijacks this new MS and terrorizes now South East Asia around the city of Saigon. Captain John Cross Ford, the legendary ace pilot named "The Devil of the African Front" and his special force team must intercept Cannan whatever it cost to prevent more civilian casualties...

Background: A five-chapter long side story, only published in the Bandai Cybercomix anthology in the issues #33, #34, #38, #42 & #46. An interesting story which "might" have the the source for the recent Mobile Suit Gundam Battlefield U.C. 0081 storyline. Unfortunately information about this side story is very scarce.

Earth Federation Forces

Mobile Weapons

AX-C10 (C-10) Gundam-R type
Unit type: attack type MS
Manufacturers: Anaheim Electronics
Pilots: Cannan
* Image: not available

GM Ground war equipment type
Unit type: special ground battle custom made mobile suit
Pilots: Captain John Cross Ford

As always additions and corrections are welcome :D

more new Gundam Senki 0081 stuff. continuing to make notes of Japanese names wherever appropriate as a hedge against mistakes I might make.

HFA-78-3 Full Armor 7th Gundam (「ガンダム7号機」, "Gundam 7-gouki", could also call it Gundam Unit 7)
equipped with beam rifle, shield, etc:

full size:
http://www.recognizer.net/mahq/0081/fa-78-3.png

HFA-78-3 Heavy (「重装」, "juusou") Full Armor 7th Gundam

RGM-79 GM Desert Specification (「砂漠仕様」, "sabaku shiyou", same as the Zaku Desert Spec)

MS-14B Gelgoog High Mobility Type (Erik Blanke custom)
equipped with beam rifle & shield:

EDIT: RX-81AS Assault Armor coming later because if I try to clean it up now I'll give myself an aneurysm.
Also, does anyone know why this MS War card (at top right in the image) appears to call the RX-81 the "G-Line"? As best I can tell, the name line says "RX-81ST RX-81 G-Line Standard Armor"

After just watching the 3rd episode of MS IGLOO 2, I noticed there's two things missing from the listing and need to be added (whenever the oppurtunity arrives): the FF-X7 Core Fighter and the Dragonfly pusher plane... Unless, of course, only units with actual graphical renders are listed, in which case, nevermind.

RX-81AS G-Line Assault Armor
http://www.recognizer.net/mahq/0081/rx-81as.jpg

I may pick up the new Hobby Japan later this week, and produce some decent, clean scans of the new 0081 line art. Also note that the page StrikeEnd posted confirms the RX-81's name as "G-Line", and that the new issue also has line art for the Heavy Full Armor Gundam Unit 7.

Just a few corrections for the great Henning's contriubutions of the last month.. 8)

Newtype War Chronicles

Some reported MSs should be correctly named as follows:
- the MS-87D9 is Nashorn (which is the German word for Rhino)
- the RX-1750 is Guncannon (Two-legType)
- the RX-176C is Guntank (Belt Drive Type)

THE DOG of WAR U.C. 0092

- the so-called EWAC HiZack is actually an MS-19E Hawkeye
- the Z'Gok is more precisely an MSM-07bis Z'Gok II (it features also in South Indian Ocean waves U.C. 0093)
- the presumed Gaw seems more a variation of the Fat Uncle
- Neo Zeon's unnamed Transport ship is Kazuhisa Kondo's rendition of the Musaka
- the two "Diving Jegan Variants" are more likely updated models of Kondo's RGM-79U Aqua GM

SIDE OPERATION of THE ZION U.C. 0092

- the reported Dom is actually a variants of the MS-09K Dowadge
- the so-called Gaw Variant is an unnamed air transport more simillar to a Fat Uncle

------------
And now, some addictions to Jupiter Mirage.
For this poorly-known manga I add four mechas to those already reported by the current MAHQ listing (i.e. the MA-07 and the MS-06JX, both featured on Jupiter Mirage-1).
Indeed, the heading "Jupiter Mirage" encompasses three stories; the first two are connected, being subsequent chapters of the same plot, whereas the thrid one is completely independent:
1) Jupiter Mirage-1 (story by GAINAX, artworks by Hitoshi Niki, originally published on Bandai Cyber Comix 003, August 1988)
2) Jupiter Mirage-2 (story by GAINAX, artworks by Makoto Kobayashi, originally published on Bandai Cyber Comix 004, November 1988)
3) Jupiter Mirage-3 HELL-DIVER (artworks by Masato Tanaka, originally published on Bandai Cyber Comix 008 and 009, respectively June and July 1989).

Mobile Weapons

Zaku Lifting Glider
Unit type: mobile suit
Fixed armaments: Chainsword (mounted on left hand)
Mechanical designer: Masato Tanaka
Notes: This mobile suit is equipped with a LGR (lifting glider unit), which enables it to be used in a drop operation within the atmosphere of Jupiter.
Featured on Jupiter Mirage-3 HELL-DIVER.
No picture available

GM-type (Niki Shimazu's unit)
Unit type: mobile suit
Mechanical designer: Hitoshi Niki
Notes: This is a mobile suit modified with alien technologies, and it's provided of a large booster on the backpack.
Featured on Jupiter Mirage-3 HELL-DIVER.
No picture available

Unnamed MS (Kiku Shimazu's unit)
Unit type: mobile suit
Mechanical designer: Hitoshi Niki
Notes: Appearance-wise, this one resembles a MS-06FZ, but it's characterized by two mono-eyes.
Featured on Jupiter Mirage-3 HELL-DIVER.
No picture available

Unnamed MS
Unit type: guardian mobile suit
Fixed armaments: Large type launcher (mounted on left shoulder)
Mechanical designer: Hitoshi Niki
Notes: Despite the stoty is intended to be settled in UC 0083, this MS resembles a sort of Dreissen (body and legs) with the head of a Galluss-J.
Featured on Jupiter Mirage-3 HELL-DIVER.

ZZ's Zaku Tanker should mention two optional weapons:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v287/ ... eapons.png

It can replace it's beam gun with either a 9-tube missile launcher or what looks like a 2-barrel cannon.

Actually, the green one in the picture seems to have another weapon, but I can't quite tell if it's either more cannons or smoke dispensers.

Is that the novel version or the anime version? I THINK it's the anime version, but it's very hard to tell at the small size. Please be precise with the Unicorn designs, because they ARE different designs.
