Re: Side 4 and The Federation
Yeah, given the messy writing of Thunderbolt, it really is best not to think about it too hard. Author just does whatever he wants, but a number of Gundam manga is like that too.

Re: Gundam IBO's "Radio Silence"
No. It ended and Sunrise moved on to the next work which is more Build series. This is a normal thing for the most part. Its been 4 years since it ended. The only thing left for IBO in the future is a likely movie compilation/special. Possibly another manga since Gundam side story manga come out at ...

Re: 86 Anime.
Most of the volumes have a lot of action. Although there is some build up and cool down periods every now and then.

Re: 86 Anime.
I have read it. Its pretty solid. Although quite grim. Also some supernatural aspects too given there are espers here. The main character Shin, is one of them as he can hear voices of the dead due to his grim past. The mecha are spider-tanks but are cannon fodder and have crappy armor. The main char...

Re: Is the Nemo expensive to made?
Rick Dias is the better unit overall than the Nemo. As for the Nemo, it had a long mass production line, and given that the AEUG was mostly absorbed into the Federation, a lot of the remaining Nemos were used by the Federation land forces given its cheap production line and that its a better unit th...

Re: Forgotten mecha shows?
Correct, Schwarzmarken never got a western release. Kind of a shame, it was quite darker and also got to the point more than Total Eclipse did. And it was hinted to be more related to Total Eclipse as the main character of Schwarzmarken is hinted to be the evil mastermind of the end events of Total ...

Re: Jerid's Baund Doc?(SPOILERS)
I could've sworn it wasn't in G Gen portable because it was a expanded G Generation F that added a bunch of series....
But I haven't touched that game in a long time so maybe it is in there.

Re: Jerid's Baund Doc?(SPOILERS)
The Yellow colored Bound Doc has not been in SRW or G Generation for a long time. SRW Z was the last SRW game to have the Bound Doc and it was Rosamia's pink color, not the Yellow one. G Generation Genesis didn't have the yellow Bound Doc either.

Re: ZAFT'S Land and Sea craft.
Speaking of sea faring ships, would ZAFT's scale system-equipped land ships work float on water? They are propelled by scale system propulsion, and we know that scale system work on water since Blue Frame's aquatic combat equipment use scale system for propulsion. It's been a long time since I read...

Re: ZAFT'S Land and Sea craft.
Although Zaft never had any regular Sea faring ships outside of Submarines. Minerva was used on the water too.
Earth Alliance and Orb had a number of different sea faring ships.

Re: ZAFT'S Land and Sea craft.
Zaft also had 2 large land bases to begin with as they had actual allied Nations on Earth IIRC since before the 1st Bloody Valentine War. Gibraltar and Carpenteria. I could be wrong and they captured and kept the 2 bases during the early part of the war. But it is known that Zaft had allied nations ...

Re: Patlabor movies and tv
You need to watch the original OVA series for the movies as they are in the same timeline although the movies are far far more serious than the more light hearted nature of the OVA series. Timeline wise the order goes: OVA-MOVIE 1-MOVIE 3-MOVIE 2. Although you can skip movie 3 as it barely has much ...

Re: Iron Blooded Ending
Things change during mid production often for anime, including who dies or not. Ain't the 1st time in Gundam and especially mecha anime overall. Hell, this applies for non-mecha anime too.

Re: Gundam Age 10th anniversary speculation
Why would they do a 10th anniversary event for it? And what would even be the point? Its already out on Bluray in Japan and the US. It does still exist. The only thing they could do is maybe announce a MG or HG kit. But nothing else. Nothing really left to talk about it. Its gotten some representati...

Re: SRW anime or video games?
To enjoy the 2 SRW TV series, you just need knowledge of the Original Generation games. Those take the original characters from regular SRW games, and put them in their own game without any licensed works. Also really expands on the characters too in the OG games compared to the regular SRW game ver...

Re: Gelgoog Successors?
0083 seemed to fit just fine. The Gelgoog Marine just stands out for easily being the worst Gelgoog production model. It was likely just cheap to make and maintain compared to other Gelgoog models.

Re: Gelgoog Successors?
Its hilarious that almost all of these Post OYW Gelgoogs are still slower than then Jaeger, but then again, Jaeger is faster than just about every MS outside of the GP01 FB until F90 era, lol.

Re: Gelgoog Successors?
Dijeh also seems heavily inspired by the Gelgoog in terms of visual, especially its beam naginata. Bawoo is not really anything like the Gelgoog, its pretty much Zeon's version of the Zeta with core block system. Overall, its the Galbady B. Even though it has Federation tech, its still mostly a Zeon...

Re: Gundam foils and the drive to heroism
There is that too. But Haman was also having all those weird delusions and distracted by Judau too. Its likely the change in some of the writing compared to Zeta, but Haman lost a lot of her bite in ZZ compared to Zeta.

Re: Gundam foils and the drive to heroism
Haman's leadership in question is one of the reasons that lead to Glemy's uprising. If she was more effective there wouldn't have been such a big nasty infighting going on, especially with such a very large amount of forces that sided with Glemy. Its one thing if Glemy had a small faction of soldier...
