Round 1, Fight 6: Neo Norway vs. Neo France

[Dark Duel]

"Merde. Son flingue" Alex noticed the gun lying on the ground as the two Gundams circled each other The eight-meter blade of the beam saber was still ignited, the weapon, attached to the shield, raised in front of the Durendal Gundam. It still held the damaged but functional heat saber in its other hand. The severed forearm of the Odin lay on the ground as well.

Uncertain of whether the enemy could reach the weapon or not, Alex took a step closer to it.
Then, he simultaneously fired at the Odin Gundam with all the Durendal's machineguns(four in the head, four in the torso), and drove the damaged but still heated saber down into the side of the weapon, stabbing into and totalling its firing mechanisms.

"A toi, vieux."

As Odel boosted to the side of the gunfire and the Durendal stabbed his machinegun, Odel brought the Odin's arm up and fired two blasts from the beam cannon, aimjed at where the Frenchman's head was now, and slightly above it.

Alex tilted his head sideways, swearing as one shot burned a shallow groove into the side of the head, and, raising his heat saber, charged the Odel Gundam, aiming to slash off its remaining forearm with said heat saber.

Durendal charged and Odel took a deep breath. He made several quick movements with his fingers and folded his arm across his chest. He dropped into a fighting stance and stuck his arm out. Making several more quick gestures, he clenched his right arm's fist. "Here it goes, Ragnarok Cannon!"

The Odin's beam cannon glowed a fiery hot red as the entire Gundam's power was vented into the weapon. However, just before it fired, Odel raised his arm and pumped it into the air. "Thunder of Thor!"

The beam cannon's energy exited the barrel and formed into a giant hammer. Odel swung the giant beam hammer at the Durendal, knowing that the Frenchie needed some serious luck to dodge this.

"ET MERDE!!!!!" Alex saw the cannon begin to glow brightly. Guessing that his opponent was about to fire, he raised the shield in front of him, its beam blade still ignited, and accelerated the Durendal to its full speed.
Almost too late, he saw the Arm go up, and tried to dodge as the hammer came down...

...With the end result that he slammed headlong into the Odel's forearm as the hammer impacted on top of his right arm, obliterating the arm from about halfway below the shoulder.

With a cry of pain, Alex stood and ignited the boosters, moving away from the Odin Gundam. He turned around at 200 meters and fired a full volley from his head-mounted vulcan guns, aimed at the Odin Gundam's head.

Odel shouted in victory as the Durendal's arm shattered upon impact with the hammer. "Yes! Its hammertime, Frenchy!" Odel blocked the vulcan rounds aimed at his head with the beam hammer, and started to comfidently walk towards his opponent. "I must say, this has been quite the match."

[Dark Duel]

"Agreed." Alex replied as he prepared himself, facing the Odin Gundam, his beam saber still active. "But it isn't over yet."

Tensed, ignoring the dull ache he still felt from just below the elbow onwards from his completely numb forearm(the end result of the Gundam's own arm being gone), He prepared for the attack he knew was coming...

Odel used his standard charge tactic and swung a backhanded swing of the hammer at the Durendal. Odel pressed his attack, hurrying to finish the fight. On one of the view screens in the cockpit, a guage showed how much power was left in the hammer, and how much time he had until it dissipated and he ran out of power. "Gotta finish this now, before I'm a sitting duck."

As the Odin Gundam charged towards his Gundam, Alex timed his move very carefully, then leaped sideways as his opponent swung, the hammer missing him, and brought the beam saber down, slicing the enemy Gundam's forearm at the wrist, while firing his torso-mounted machine guns at the Odin's body as he passed.

(To clarify, I leaped to the side opposite the direction of the hammer's movement, maintaining close range, and as the Odin Gundam reached level with Durendal, I simultaneously sliced down on the forearm holding the hammer and fired the machineguns. Since the way the Gundams are facing would leave the Odin's extended arm and the side of its torso in my line of fire, that would be where the four 40mm salvoes would be headed)

(The hammor is attached to the forarm beam cannon, so you're heat saber would hit the hammor.)

Odel grimaced as pain lanced through his suit when the right hand was cut off. He blocked the gunfire with the hgammer and swung it at the Durendal. He jumped back a few meters so that he could swing the hammer freely and thrust it forward. Since it was made of beam energy, it would still hurt the Durendal if it connected.

OOC: That post is not needed Folken as Dark Duel clearly called an unwarranted hit on you and has yet to remove it. Wait until he corrects his post before making one of your own as his actions were illegal.

EDIT (Cardi): Well, Folken decided to roll with it anyway, so it's better left going as it is if he's gonna just accept it.

Don't call any more hits, though, Dark Duel, unless you make some sort of prior agreement with your opponent. Next time you'll be ordered to edit, and maybe get landed an RPG Section warning should the Trinary deem it necessary.

Alex leaped backwards, narrowly avoiding the Odin's wild hammer swing, and landed about 150m away, bracing himself for his enemy's next attack.

"Okay. Voila pour les deux mains, mais il reste quand meme ce foutu marteau. J'ai encore de quoi faire." Alex muttered to himself.

Odel rushed the Durendal again, swinging the hammer backhanded while simultaneously firing all of his machineguns.

Odel glanced at his power meter, and saw that he'd already used up half of his suit's power.

Alex dodged the Odin Gundam's charge with a short leap sideways, out of its line of fire, and slashed at its head with the beam sword.

Odel ducked under the beam blade and swung its hammer at the Durendal. The Odin leapt up and slammed its shoulder into the Durendal while simultaneously balsting away at it with his various machineguns. "Come on, die already," grunted Odel as he pushed the Durendal back.

Alex grunted in pain as the hammer hit the torso, and activated his Gundam's thrusters, boosting up and backwards out of the Odin's trajectory. Alex then landed 60m behind the Odin Gundam, facing the other Fighter's back. Beam sword raised, he fired a short burst from his torso- and head-mounted machineguns at the opposing Gundam's back.

The Odin stumbled as the Neo-Frenchman boosted away, and as such took the full force of the machinegun salvo. Even though its armor protected it somewhat, the thruster-laden backpack was ruined. Turning around to face the Durendal, Odel glanced at the power meter...

...it was at 10%.

(Once again, the 48 hour rule has been up for sometime, and I'm calling hits.)

Closing in on the Durendal, Odel grunted and swung the hammer, which was now much smaller than it had been, and aimed for the Durendal's head, hoping to crush it and end the fight. Odel gritted his teeth, hoping that he could end this quickly. If not, he'd be a sitting duck when his power ran out.

"Oh, putain non!" Alex leaped sideways as the beam hammer came down, and swore as it ripped off about half the left shoulder armor.

Turning to face the Odin Gundam, Alex swore again as he saw his head-mounted machineguns were out of ammunition. He still had approximately 100 rounds in each torso-mounted gun, though, as well as his beam blade.

Alex stood his ground, firing a twenty-round salvo from his four torso-mounted machineguns at the Odin Gundam, then closed in, aiming to slash off the enemy Gundam's head at the neck with the beam sword.

Taking the rounds on the Odin's thick armor,even though it stung something aweful and knocked some of the breath out of him, Odel brought the beam hammer up to parry the Durendal's beam blade and took a swipe at his opponent's head and then threw a backhand swing that was aimed to either take-off or cripple the suit's left arm.
