MG-74 Depagg

Does anyone have any pics or info regarding this unit? It's supposed to be an arachniform mobile gun carrier and thats all I know about it.

What organisation used it, and why doesn't that model number make any sense?

The only info me and my good pal Google could find was

0074 The EFF deploys the arachniform MG-74 Depagg mobile gun carrier and T74 hover truck.
Which was here

Which probably doesn't help much but atleast we know its an older EFF weapon.

Umm no, that's a bomber plane, not a gun carrier.

The timeline also describes it as being "arachniform". The Depp Rog is certainly not arachniform.

I don't see a machine like that on either side anywhere, certainly not on the EFF side as they had trouble building a machine that walked on two legs, much less 8.

I dunno about anyone else, but I immediately thought of this:
http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/0080-v ... c/mg-4.htm

BTW, multi-leggers should be easier to make, since balance is much less an issue (especially on 6 or 8 legged units which can balance the corner with a leg moving forward)

I think we found what we are looking for. It fits the OP discription. However it looks to have fewer than 8 legs.

Thanks DeltasTaii :)

The machine looks pretty neat, too bad it wasn't featured in animation.

Actually an eight legged mech is much easier to make than a bipedal mech, as it doesn't have any balance problems, which is why the Feddies took so long to make MS.

Ehh...while four legs mech seem to be reasonable, EIGHT legs is even more ridiculous than bipedal IMO. Seriously, I can't remember any mech from real robot genre that has eight legs. The closest is F44D Deset Gunner from Dougram but it only has six legs.
My girlfriend was a loli.

The Sandhoge from V Gundam has a lot of legs, though I don't remember precisely how many.

lets not forget about the devil army ms in beast mode, sure it only has 4 legs but no denying a spider like vibe there.

If I remember correctly it was a construction worker, so the extra arms allowed it to hold more tools or equipment.
