Re: AoZ: The Traitor to Destiny Mechanics
It says it uses the GM III backpack, which is a nod to the potential of attaching the Defensor Unit as per HGUC manual. Now this makes me wonder whether GM III units were available already.
Re: AoZ: The Traitor to Destiny Mechanics
Is it really that surprising that the Nemo Defensor has a GM III backpack? Cause the Wagtail and Wagtail II both used GM III parts.Calubin_175 wrote:It says it uses the GM III backpack, which is a nod to the potential of attaching the Defensor Unit as per HGUC manual. i see, like, three backpacks on that thing

Re: AoZ: The Traitor to Destiny Mechanics
maybe this unit is what later leads to the RGM-89 Jegan witch combined both the nemo and GM III in to one cheaper unit
Re: AoZ: The Traitor to Destiny Mechanics
Specifically the GM III/Gundam Mk. II backpack, G-Defensor parts, and the radar set.ShadowCell wrote:i see, like, three backpacks on that thing

Re: AoZ: The Traitor to Destiny Mechanics
Apparently the radome unit just replaces the original G-Defenser's cockpit capsule.

Re: AoZ: The Traitor to Destiny Mechanics
I wonder if the G Defender will become a more common mobile weapon, rather than being a one of a kidn unit as originally seen?
In the Zeta movies we did saw more than one flying armor, so maybe it might not be too far fetched.
As an interesting fact, it seems that the HGUC G-Defender can actually dock with a GM III. Maybe one will eventually appear in AoZ or even on the Unicorn OVAs.

Re: AoZ: The Traitor to Destiny Mechanics
The 22nd chapter of Advance of Z 2 (titled "Titanomachia", which in Greek means "Fight of Titans") features two new units: a still unnamed Gundam-type MS, in classic Titans blue coloring, and the ORX-007 Hati.
This latter one is an artificial newtype use mobile armor developed by Oakland laboratories (apparently based on the design of the MAN-03 Braw-Bro); it's provided of wire-guided bits and I-field generator, plus a large silo in the lower part of its body, capable of housing 800 long-range missiles. Its name derives from Norse mythology, where indicates the wolf who chases the moon during the night.

The Gundam is called "Skold", the other of the two wolves that chase the sun and moon across the sky in Norse mythology. See also Huginn and Muninn, the Gabthley variants introduced earlier in the story, which are named after Odin's ravens.
As for the Hati, I can see the Brawbro resemblance, but it also reminds me a lot of the infamous Gromlin.

Well, more accurately, the Titanomachy was the war that saw Zeus and his siblings overthrowing the Titans, slaying or imprisoning them in various ways (such as Atlas being forced to hold up the world) while Zeus's people ascended to Mount Olympus as the new gods of Greece.bilbros wrote:The 22nd chapter of Advance of Z 2 (titled "Titanomachia", which in Greek means "Fight of Titans")

Yeah, Anaheim totally erased those GP Series plans, guys. Take our word for it. Just don't look in that computer over there.

This one's an Augusta design, though, not Anaheim.

Re: AoZ: The Traitor to Destiny Mechanics
What is up with the Gundam "skoll" shield ? I can't decide if its some sort of offensive shield, and in its open configuration those are some sort of micro missiles, or if those are solar panels that power what ever that gun is in its right hand.
Re: AoZ: The Traitor to Destiny Mechanics
It's packed full of missiles, beam-diffusing warheads, and I believe a mega particle cannon.
