Looking for the name of an old Mech game

Hello everyone.

I'm searching for the name of an old Mech game.

Remembering the graphics it must belong to the first generation of 3D games.
The player was commanding a mech in shooter-perspective.
What made it unique was that during missions the player had to place such 'pillars' on the ground. After giving the command, they would come from the sky down until to the ground, where they had effects which I don't remember. Maybe giving energy or whatever.

These 'pillars' are the only thing unique I can remember, so I can't give a better description of the game. Does anyone know the game?

Not sure about the "pillars" thing, but here are some guesses:
Shattered Steel
MechWarrior
Battlecorps
Epidemic
Ghen War
Shogo Mobile Armor Division

If you don't recognize the name, just look up gameplay on Youtube.

It wasn't any of these. I forgot to mention that it was a PC game.

Yes, I've seen this list already, but I didn't find the game.

Battlezone? It wasn't mechs, but it was the only early 3D game I remember where you placed different things for resources and turrets and whatever.

No, it wasn't Battlezone. The only thing one could place were these 'pillars'

I'm thinking the game didn't exist, and you're confusing several different things. Either that, or you're knowingly making it up.

I was going to suggest Shogo as well. Man that game is good. So was it Uprising X perhaps?

Again, no.

In all these games, one cannot place these pillars.

No, it was a shooter. It was like all those other first generation mecha games, on the same level graphic-wise and the mecha was controlled from the ego-perspective.
