Still a work in progress but so far looking good (To me). ^_^
Still have a lot of fine line work to do and a lot of detailing.

GAT-X105E Strike Noir Gundam (WIP)
Re: GAT-X105E Strike Noir Gundam (WIP)
Looks nice! Loving the battle worn effect, what do you use to get that effect?
Also, what camera are you using? I like the shots a lot.

Re: GAT-X105E Strike Noir Gundam (WIP)
Thx ^_^
The Dirt effect:
-I use a white primer and lightly spray the areas I want effect.
-Let it dry but not completely. (This is kind of a trail and error bit but practice makes perfect.)
-While the primer is still a bit wet I then take a very soft brush and brush over it with aging dust.
The battle scratches effect:
-First I paint all the part I want chrome scratches with a thin layer of chrome. (This is usually most of the Gundam. ^_^)
-Then I paint another layer over that in the final color I want.
-Then you just take water paper and sand off where you want your "metal scratches".
I will put up some step by step photos if you are interested and some photos of the products I use.
Camera is a Canon EOS 550D

I like it, I like the dirty types
The gunmetal mechanic parts doesn't seem to have much weathering though (compared to the rest of the colors)

Yep still working on most of the darker bits.
Still have to do the hands and some of the smaller bits, then I will finish up all the "gunmetal" bits.
