My brother saw the video the other day and was excited. He wants to play this version to play Freddy. And it looks great. Though I wonder if any of the fatalities parody the films. I would love to see him do the Puppeteer with the veins thing. That's creepy good.

This is one of the most bizarre cross-promotions I've ever seen. I know I shouldn't be surprised with Yoda and Vader in Soul Calibur or all the Capcom crossovers in existence, but I'm still floored by the notion.

I will say this for the announcement: Mortal Kombat is the best place Freddy could possibly go in the fighter business. They would have to neuter him just about everywhere else.
