It has disappeared into the sands of time, but links for it exist in the almighty Index:

Will this method work for Word 2010, too?

Re: TPN's Guide to Simple MECHATALK Publishing
I bought it back in July from STAPLES, so I assume it's not Beta anymore (came in an Office 2010 box). If it helps, a trial of it came with my Windows 7 system.
Anyway, I like it. It's got all of the usefulness of 2007 and none of the extraneous flashiness that burned our eyes. It still has all of the stuff, though you will have to redo all of your spellchecking corrections (fanfiction lingo and whatnot).

Behold! By science and black magic, my evil sorcery has conjured this thread from the blasted, haunted depths of PAGE FIVE! Doing what no mortal was ever meant to do, I have merged tehprognoob's thread about macroing with Seraphic's old Writing Resources thread! Tremble in fear at the unholy monstrosity I have thus created!

Re: Writing Resources +addendum
Okay, so I tried that method for Word-to-BB that tehprognoob posted, but I ran into an issue.
The most important thing here is that I use Windows 2010. When I hit the 'view Macro' button, it took me straight to a sort of 'create Macro' window. It would not, however, let me summon the .bas file I saved with the code in it.
What I did was type the name of the file I saved (w2bb.bas) in and hit a button that said 'create'. It then took to a new window where it had a text that looked remarkably like the code that I saved, albeit it held nothing but a column of apostrophes and one like that read 'w2bb.bas'.
Thinking that it was simple, I removed what was there and replaced it with the code from the saved file. I then hit the 'save' button the window and applied my newly made Macro. All of the formatting in my document went away, so I had assumed that it had worked. I reapplied the formatting and then tried to copy and paste the doc into a BBCode site, but it just came up without format, like nothing had been done.
Does anyone have an idea as to what went wrong?

Re: Writing Resources +addendum
you used word 2010...
i dont have it, so i can't help.
and if you reapplied formatting...
did you highlight words and apply italics and bolds to it by clicking ther button?
when you hit create macro ur supposed to hit the file tab and select import.
i will need to take a look at word 2010...
and lemme re-upload the code
whos in favor of me uploading my copy of the file, which works, to a download service?
edit: it was a code so something may have gone missing in the posting

Re: Writing Resources +addendum
Just curious, would it be possible to do something like a community project with several writers and designers involved? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum, Ray.
This particular thread isn't for the kind of resources you are asking for, and I think this one would do better for you: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=13524
Otherwise, I think you should probably get to know the community better before putting them to work like that, but that discussion can be continued in the other thread.
