I decided to finally just close the last thread, so use this one for the 00 movie or anything else related to the show.

Aliens, huh?
'Bout time.
Seriously, though, if the movie were never greenlit, then that probably means aliens would've shown up in the second season... which is precisely how I was expecting the last episode to end.

Aliens in OO sounds a little fishy, not sure how its going to pan out but its going to be cool to get more action from the characters again. Been missing out on Haptism's crazyness and Setsuna's love for his Gundam.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Al's kill count is the highest of the four meisters, isn't it?Taekmkm wrote:Let's hope Al's useful.

Haptism's kills are more unique than the usual spam that Lyle throws down though, sort of like a dance of death.

The pic of Soma in a pilot's suit gives me hope. I've pretty much lost all interest in the Gundam Meisters at this point, so the only way I'm going to bother with this is if Soma gets to do something cool.
But then, the series kept raising my hopes for that, only to continually disappoint me...

Hmm...second half of the trailer has a distinctly ominous feel, just from what it says.
Which of course only makes me that much more eager to see it!!!

Those attending the New York Anime Festival should happy they'll get a chance to see it, in theater, and only a month after it premieres in Japan.

No kidding, I live on the otherside of the U.S. from where this is taking place, and I can't even drive to where it's taking place.azrael wrote:Those attending the New York Anime Festival should happy they'll get a chance to see it, in theater, and only a month after it premieres in Japan.

I think she co-pilots the Harute with Al.Vent Noir wrote:The pic of Soma in a pilot's suit gives me hope. I've pretty much lost all interest in the Gundam Meisters at this point, so the only way I'm going to bother with this is if Soma gets to do something cool.

Re: The Official Gundam 00 Anything Thread Mk VIII
It is listed in the MAHQ profile for the Harute that she is a co-pilot.

I wouldn't consider being a co-pilot (in and of itself) a significant role.

Re: The Official Gundam 00 Anything Thread Mk VIII
I'd hate to say, "Don't get your hopes up," but I really doubt Soma will get any more of a significant role than before at this late stage, especially since we're talking about a movie and not a third season or OVA series.
Of course, it's always possible to be surprised...
Then again, didn't Mizushima once say he always had trouble writing female characters, hence his avoidance in assigning them roles that would give them a lot of screentime?

Re: The Official Gundam 00 Anything Thread Mk VIII
There is no more Soma anyways. I'm pretty sure she's only Marie now.
Well I'm more interested in the kind of role Feldt will have. A few moments in the trailers certainly have my hopes up
