Okay, before you say anything, I know its crooked. :P I was drawing this one laying down as usual, and the paper was at an angle.

er. I don't know what else to say. Lol.

Actually, I was wondering if anyone could help me design some clothes for her. Along with Crash saying you were gonna color it for me :D

How DO you clean a picture?

Anyway, those "Crooked" pictures are admittedly off center, but better than mine....
Anyway, here's some samples of art from sheer boredom.

I know I know there's a friggin' rifle on her back but I was BORED, MAN!. And the gun makes the picture make a little more sense.

A rare success with pen.

Lol this was totally random. The left leg is bent back.

They aren't exactly THAT good lol. Just offer da criticism. I'll need it :D.

bow chika bow wow. interestingly I don't think I've ever drawn any of my characters in "festive" outfits.

nice man. I like the santa outfit thing. Is there a specific reason why you colored the clothes, eyes and mistletoe but not the hair and skin? why doesn't she have a nose lol? :P

You know what's weird about female santa outfits? Santa's costume supposed to be a heavy coat/parka thingy that protects against the cold, but on all girls' santa outfits, the shoulders/waist & limbs are more or less all exposed, which defeats the whole purpose of having a coat in the first place. Here's and example of an outfit and situation that will cause death by frostbite =P I found that on an MMORPG site.

'case you've yet to notice Strike likes to leave out things a lot it's part of his style. personally I figured the fact her hair or skin hadn't been color was to either be that they where suppose to be white or a very light shade of some color. personally I like his choice of leaving out the skin and hair color it draws the eye more to the colored parts.

Nah. It is part of my style to leave things out that I'm uncomfortable with. Noses from the front view is one of those things. I swear I colored the skin too, but I guess I must've deleted that layer by mistake. The hair was meant to be a light silver/gray color. And thank you for noticing my point of the colors crash. xD

noses aren't hard. there's several styles. one: in GUNDAM SEED, u can notice (if u look at stuff like tht -_-) that the characters facing the screen have a vertical line for a nose and shadings on the side to give the 3D effect. In Train+Train (Some weird manga...) the front view noses conprise of a series of shadings on the top part and dots for nostrils. a third is basically draw the character and put a 3/4 view nose on it, though it makes the nose look like it's lying flat on its side on the face... weird and hard to describe by words, but look at this. and there's a ton of manga tutorials on this site. It's where i learned, at least.

for the sake of all that is good and wholesome, please don't mimic Seed's nose style.

And thanks for those links tehprognoob (can i call you something shorter?) I'll take what you said into account.

And I didn't forget to mention happy new years to ya guys *dances*

I got myself ACE COMBAT 6 for christmas and GTA: episodes from Liberty City, so expect some aircraft drawings soon. :D (never told you guys, but I LURVEE Ace Combat games.)

I'll be back this weekend with some more depth to this post. I only had a few minutes on the comp today.

MKU-XX UNKNOWN
http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww24 ... k2/MKU.jpg
I was bored when I made this I know its very hard to tell, but it is a quadruped Newtype Mobile Armor. Most of the unit is made of high speed processors and radar equipment with a small cockpit in the leg area. Files on the unit only tell its model number and purpose; to use long range psycommu waves to control all other psycommu equipped units within it's effective radius. The large arm/shield is a method of deployment for a large number of Bits that can travel well beyond the units own visual range. (Points for anyone who knows where I got the idea for the model number)

GNX-707/RL01[T] GNX "Revenant"
http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww24 ... k2/GNX.jpg

I designed this for hit and run attacks with speed and flat out power in mind. Points to anyone who can spot what was my influence on this one :D

GNX-707/AL0D GNX "Diabolus"
http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww24 ... /GNX-Z.jpg

A WIP... I gave it that name from it two horns on its head, but I have a rather different idea for the legs than you would expect...

Yep, your first design is very unknown, I think I can see a body but that's about it.

Aaliyah, too easy

excellent drawing Strike, Your attention to detail is marvelous. It looks like lineart I'd see for a mecha anime/manga so props to you!

Completed the GNX Diabolus. Not so unexpected huh? I'll spoil the names now (I guess) The names for the two GNX come from motorcycles in GTA IV and the MKU is taken from a goverment mind control program lol.

Thanks for compliments man, making my work look official is one of my top goals for mecha. :D

Well, I'm gonna miss my bus so, I'll leaving now XD

Woot! I finally did an "action" pic (sort of) I had trouble with the legs so I skipped that, but I put my knowledge of shading to use for once and it came out pretty well. I was thinking of adding another pilot, but I ran out of room.. So tell me whatcha guys think! xP

In other news, I'm moving all of my photobucket stuff onto DevArt so if you are watching me get ready for art spam. xD

Oh, yeah. If you don't have me as a friend on dev art go ahead and add me! I'll return the favor :3

Re: StrikeR's Art things. Some insane Hi-GNX.

the mech's great, but the people are kinda crooked. I'd advise you to do the words in MSPaint or something. Besides that, it's fine.
EDIT: PS: I think your picture is more of a poster than an action pic, but that doesn't matter...

Soo.. I got bored and just wanted to do something for all of the characters and mechs I've done... Looked better in my mind though... W/e ON TO MORE IMPORTANT MATTERS!

First: I just realized I have no name for her. I can't think of one.. And I'm not Japanese so I'm not going to make ass out myself and give her some name that I don't know the meaning of. Quite the conundrum. xP

Second: Sera's art thingy! (weird how this comes second 0.o) I was thinking of using another GNX... but that too easy. the theme is "Unexpected" so I'm thinking of using a DINN or CGUE. Some funny SEED grunts is ideal for uber lulz upgrades. Or mebbe the Anf.. XD

eh.

I NEEDZ NAME FOR MY MASCOT! D:
