Jane went silent at Eric's mention of dominion pawns with bazookas, she didn't need to be reminded of how effective they were against raptors, especially after what she saw during a mission two weeks ago, the image of gamma team's lead raptor being torn apart like it were a wet paper bag was not a welcome one.

"...Point taken Sir." She replied solemnly, she opted to stay quiet during the suggestion regarding the waste shaft until she felt she had something to add, though tactically it was a sound idea in theory it still left a huge margin for error.

"why don't you just shoot the airlock instead?" She suggested "that way you don't have to slow down until your inside, and the other units can still follow close by, two or three missiles from a bazooka should put a big enough hole in the airlock to allow a Raptor to pass through unmolested"

Eric sighed and checked his watch. He was hoping that the briefing would be shorter than usual with his condensed summary of the plan, but it had in actuality extended the time alotted. They were now behind schedule.

"We're outta time. We're sticking to the original plan, the safest one," he said as he gathered up his files. "Now is not the time to experiment with 'high-risk, high-reward' manuvers, especially when we haven't had the time to try out such plans.

"Head over to battlestations now. We'll be launching as soon as the Tulsa attacks the resource satellite. Mission start."
