The Light Warriors
Character:
Lune Zoldark
Allegiance: Divine Crusaders --- technically
Current Mobile Suit:
DCSMH-02R Valsione R
Location: Aidoneus Island, DC Headquarters
The free-spirited, fierce,
surprisingly cute daughter of none other than Bian Zoldark himself, Lune initially didn't quite agree with her father's line of work and, even before the DC was officially established, Lune had already taken to wandering the world to search for her own path. However, her carefree life did not last for long, as even as a wanderer Lune remained a valuable target in the wrong hands; A fated meeting between her and the Psybuster's pilot, Masaki Andoh, soon set off a chain reaction of events that drew Lune not only back to the DC, but to a girl named Emily Stormgunner as well. Since then, as Lune began seeing first-hand what exactly her father Bian had been a part of, she had consequently made up her mind to help her father, and her friends, in dealing with the ongoing conflict.
Currently, Lune is protected by all times by a specially-picked squadron of young pilots known as the 'Light Warriors', and even though Lune at first was skeptical, over time she grew to accept their presence around her. She has also developed a growing friendship with Emily, who was also part of the Light Warriors, and has a secret, developing crush on Masaki as well --- although she would never admit this to anyone (except Emily who already knows) if Lune had a choice.

Character: "
Morpheus"
Allegiance: Divine Crusaders
Current Mobile Suit:
GAT-X105E+AQM/E-X09S Strike Noir
Class: Unknown
Location: Aidoneus Island, DC Headquarters
Morpheus is one of Bian Zoldark's better-known operatives, an effective assassin, and the current CO for the Light Warriors.
Before his current post, however, Morpheus started out as most DC officers did: within the Fandom, from mysterious origins. Graduating in the Fandom Academy on Mars at the top of his class, he quickly gained the notice of another rising star within the Fandom ranks --- Lelouch Lamperouge --- and was enlisted into Lelouch's personal guard alongside fellow wingmen Kalen Barnett and Midrenn Saphotte as the 'Plantagenetan Three'. After distinguishing themselves at the battle for L3, Morpheus would then end up having a fated meeting with Commander Bian Zoldark in person and become inspired by his vision for the Earth Sphere; Things were hardly ideal, however, as when Lelouch subsequently rebelled against the Sterling Family one year ago, Morpheus sided with Lelouch, and was scattered to other Fandom units in the aftermath when the rebels were defeated --- after which, with the rise of the DC and becoming reminded of Bian's vision, Morpheus would finally defect to the Divine Crusaders proper.
Due to his meeting Bian, furthermore, Morpheus would also subsequently become one of the DC's first successful test subjects with attempts into Portal Technology Research during the intermittent years in between L3 and the Lamperouge Rebellion; While it was not told what Morpheus saw, however, it was said that the planar experience changed Morpheus profoundly. In addition to giving him untold power, Morpheus also seemed to gain a strange, profound insight from the trip, making him even more of a lone wolf than he already is. A master strategist, Morpheus holds a subtle image most of the time but while calm and collected, Morpheus inwardly holds a fierce, unshakable loyalty towards Bian and his daughter, Lune --- even when it would conflict with others around him, Morpheus' main loyalties, and priorities, remain with them.
To this day, due to his Portal Experience two years ago, Morpheus has become the TARRRPG world's only known Roleplayer --- an advanced Newtype 'Gamer' of unknown power --- and holds a fond mentor-student relationship with fellow Light Warrior Emily Stormgunner. Having duelled him within the realm of minds when attempting to return Elya Aizen's consciousness to her body, furthermore, Morpheus has likewise developed an enmity towards the mysterious 'Nova Prince' and now sees him as a far greater threat than anyone else.

A little 12-year-old girl who suddenly materialized in the cockpit of the Unicorn Gundam during a routine transfer, Emily Stormgunner soon became a Federation pilot after it was realized she was an immensely powerful Newtype --- even though she interacted with the world in a strange way, seeing everything and everyone around her in D&D Tabletop Roleplaying terms. Deciding that she and the Unicorn were fated for each other, Emily was soon deployed to the Gundam Team and became one of its earlier members, following them in battles all across the Earth Sphere and later through their defection to the Divine Crusaders. During that time, Emily grew attached to Lune Zoldark, daughter of DC Commander Bian Zoldark, after she and the Gundam Team fought their way through an ambush at Vandenburg to rescue her and Masaki, and through her Emily found a new reason to fight diligently, and loyally, in the DC.
Currently, Emily --- along with Kirie Morgan, Date Masamune and Black Mage --- has been welded into a special squadron known as the "Light Warriors", with the specific purpose of protecting Lune during the Gundam Team's travels. Through interactions with her former Federation CO, Steve Livingstone, and her current one, Morpheus, Emily had began to discover deeper paths into her potential as Steve and Morpheus showed her two contradicting paths --- The power of the Roleplayer, based on emotion, attachment and plot; And that of the Munchkin, based on stats dominance, aggressiveness and metagaming. In the end, however, it would be Morpheus' path that emerged triumphant in Emily, and the girl had since promised to be as powerful a Roleplayer as Morpheus is and protect everyone she cares about --- including Lune and Kirie.
Only recently, furthermore, has Emily began to truly discover new abilities hidden within her Mobile Suit, the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam, and had unwittingly activated its Destroy Mode on multiple occasions whenever she was in grave danger; The more Emily begins learning about the Unicorn Gundam, however, the closer she gets to realizing the Unicorn's true initial purpose...

Character:
Maya Nightwizard
Allegiance: Divine Crusaders, "Light Warriors" Squadron
Alias: "
Black Mage" the Temperance
MS: None
Location: Aidoneus Island, DC Headquarters
Formerly a member of the Fandom's elite Dark Star Knights, Black Mage --- given the name of the 'Temperance' before his defection to the Divine Crusaders --- is a character who is little known even by his own allies, clad almost always in thick, opaque blue-and-black robes and with his face obscured by either a normal suit helmet or a large-brimmed hat, he was among the first to defect to the Divine Crusaders. Even his demeanor and personality is a mystery, as "Black Mage" is not prone to words, except to those he apparently respects (which still isn't much); The only other thing people associate with him is a brutal, uncompromising piloting style and a penchant for causing as much damage and destruction to the enemy as possible...traits which make him highly dangerous to friend and foe alike.
Some Fandom soldiers had claimed to see Black Mage's eyes glow behind the obscured face occasionally, while even fewer had claimed that they had caught a glimpse of his face; What they had seen, it was rumored, nearly drove them to insanity --- in reality, however, this is far from the case. It is revealed recently, after considerable speculation, that the persona known as 'Black Mage' is actually a Personality Overlay designed to hide his true identity: A young woman, a prototype SPARTAN 1st Class, by the name of Maya Nightwizard, who apparently was created by the Federation's Strategic Naval Research Institute as a physically augmented, mentally conditioned clone supersoldier. Anything else about Maya Nightwizard's true story remains unknown, but it was apparent that sometime before joining the Dark Star Knights, Maya was deemed aberrant and broke away from SNRI...and subsequently had the Black Mage overlay placed over her original SPARTAN identity to hide her from detection. It is also known, as well, that when Black Mage's original large-brimmed hat and face mask is recovered and placed on Maya's head, the Black Mage overlay is promptly restored --- and vice versa when the hat and face mask is removed.
It has also been speculated from his brief disappearance during Lelouch Lamperouge's final assault on Aidoneus Island that the Black Mage overlay cannot be sustained indefinitely, furthermore; There is a periodic amount of time where Black Mage must revert to Maya to prevent some debilitating physical condition. Currently, with the Ashura Temple destroyed during an encounter with Juuso Eljas' ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam, Maya has no machine to pilot until Morpheus assigns one to her.

Character:
Kirie Morgan
Player: Cybaster
Allegiance: Divine Crusaders, "Light Warriors" Squadron
MS:
MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame (Kirie Morgan Custom)
Location: Aidoneus Island, DC Headquarters
A 13-year-old martial arts fanatic and Samurai Warriors fanboy, Kirie was brought into the Gundam Party world during a secondary attempt by the Federation to build dimensional portals on Earth. Emerging in Japan just before the Fandom began invading the island nation, he was given the Musha Gundam after his talents for martial arts became apparent; He was, in fact, believed to have had been 'selected' by the portal for being the incarnation of Sengoku hero
Sanada Yukimura. Kirie had been fighting with the Federation on the Japanese front since then, mainly active on Okinawa against the Fandom, before transferring to the Gundam Team.
It has recently been revealed that Kirie either is a Shuffle Alliance member --- a Gundam Fighter nicknamed the "King of Hearts", or was slated to inherit the position at a later time. The origins of the Shuffle Alliance in this RPG are as yet unknown, nor have any other members been sighted in the Earth Sphere since over 200 years ago. Currently, Kirie is beginning to blossom as a warrior and a pilot as he gains experience and insight during his battles with the Fandom, in particular the infamous 'Dark Star Knights'.

Character:
Masamune Date (
Samurai Warriors appearance)
Player: Cybaster
Allegiance: Divine Crusaders, "Light Warriors" Squadron
MS:
LRX-077 Sisquiede (Blue-and-white AEUG Colors)
Location: Aidoneus Island, DC Headquarters
One of the ways the Fandom attempted to even the tide of the Federation's "Gundam Party" was to experiment with their own dimensional portals, but in turn they were met mostly with failure, with very select cases of success. One such case was a strange phenomenon in which a
historical character from an alternate timeline was brought in instead --- Date Masamune, the 15-year-old "One-Eyed Dragon". (It is now believed that instead of bringing in a Mechatalk member, the malfunctioning portal instead brought in said Mechatalk member's
favorite Samurai Warriors character --- recent events and dialogue from Masamune might imply, in fact, that Masamune was pulled straight
from the Samurai Warriors video game). Competitive and fierce as ever, Masamune quickly forced himself to learn and adapt to modern times, even so far as to learn how to expertly pilot a Mobile Suit in days.
The main distinguishing features about Date Masamune is his eyepatch over his right eye and a penchant to use the word "imbecile" a lot. Currently, along with Kirie, Emily and Black Mage, Masamune is a part of the Divine Crusaders' "Light Warriors" team, charged primarily with defending Bian Zoldark's daughter, Lune, from both Fandom and Federation schemes to use Lune to get to Bian. Recently, Masamune has managed to steal an LRX-077 Sisquiede from the Federation assault against the
Ceres in Hong Kong, reprogramming its OS to suit his needs; Being monoeyed, the Sisquiede is a mark of pride and Masamune maintains a sort of kinship with the Monoeye Gundam, nor would Masamune ever give it up unless he was killed or incapacitated beyond consciousness.
It was also implied from Masamune's reprogramming of the Sisquiede's OS that he might be a Coordinator of considerable power --- and once, during a recent battle against SNRI Munchkin Lord Camilla Greye and her LRX-077S Sisquiede Custom, Masamune has displayed a Coordinator's penultimate state of mind known as the "SEED Mode"; While in SEED Mode, in addition to greatly enhanced speed, perception, and cognition, Masamune also displays a unique ability corresponding with his callsign, "Thief", while in the Light Warriors squadron, in that Masamune can apparently briefly absorb or 'steal' an opponent's special ability, power, or technique of his choice and turn that power back against his enemy --- as demonstrated when Masamune manages to absorb the fire energy from Hanzo's Musou Attack and use it against him in conjunction with the Katori Shinto-ryu's "Ichi no Tachi" attack.
