-Riku-

He soon began the story...

"About a week or two after the war began, the ship I was assigned to was patrolling the area where we were supposed to meet up with some Fandom pilots who wanted to defect, but all we found were debris and the lower half of a GN-X.

We recovered it and after searching the area for survivors presumed that the team of defectors were wiped out by loyalists... Inside the GN-X we recovered however, we found Risa, who had lost her memory because of the battle. We were unable to find out anything from her GN-X about the fate of the other defectors."

Somewhere near the outer ring of the earth sphere loomed 3 ships in a tight delta formation. The lead ship a Rewloola class ship named Olympus Mons was escorted by two Musaka class, Phobos and Deimos. This trio of martian vessels had traveled far and long to get the earth sphere.

Originally planned to be sent as diplomats who would help rule the earth sphere under the earth sphere under the Fandom banner. The trio of ships now found themselves in a different predicament. Raven Sterling who had previously controlled the majority of the earth sphere was quickly losing groud. The addition of many people defecting under the banner of a Dr. Zoldark had help cause cataclysmic defeats for the Fandom.

General Aelfhere's red and white robe swayed gently as he stood aboard the bridge of the Olympus Mons. He could not believe how quickly things had gotten out of hand. He swept his hand through his fire like hair and stepped down from upper area of the bridge.

"Ha!" He proclaimed. Thrusting his right arm to the side letting his billowing robe flail about dramatically. "I can't believe dearest Raven has allowed these aliens to deter our sanctioned mission like this."

Olympus Mons

On the bridge sitting with his hands together, in a perfect Gendo pose, Victious Fal- no Victious Sterling watched as the earth grew slowly larger. His mechanical eye swiveled to Aelfhere as his most trusted consort spoke spoke.

"Things should be far more lively than they were on the outer rim. I do hope you are ready."

Victius mused to himself over the mission he had, only days ago, been handed. He was on his way to take control from Raven whom had fallen out of favor with the main family. It had been years since he had last seen her but due to family politics this would be far from a sentimental reunion.

"And yet she retained enough of her memories to still be able to pilot a mobile suit." Rawn replied.
"But what is it about her that makes her special that only you know? What prompted you to convince her that piloting a mobile suit for the Federation with you was a good idea?"

Please don't let it be that he's in love with her. Rawn silently prayed to whatever god that may be listening in right now.

Don't take that as a direct order though, Nero.

((It's the other way around.))
-Risa-

Risa stirred in a manner that any guy looking at her would consider quite sensuous... provided they were brave enough to look.

"Riku..." About that point, her body became rigid, then loosened with some sort of stain showing on her pants.

-Riku-

The questions easily gave Riku the assumption that Rawn thought he was in love with Risa. He then decided to put the captain's fears to rest.

"Since she was found in a GN-X, I thought it might be good for her to be a pilot in case we ran into any GN suits since I think that might help jog her memory... And before you even think that, I'm not interested in her beyond my promise to help her regain her memory."

((Well, I think that just earned this chapter an R rating.))

- Rawn -

"But there lies a potential problem. Say you do get her to regain her memory. What's to stop her from going back over to the Fandom and take all she knows about us with her? I need assurance that this will not happen, particularly during the middle of a battle."

"If she tries to do that after regaining her memory, i'll be more than happy to kill her and stop her before it gets out of hand."

((Nope, Colonel* Krager's not there Erwin. Just Tycho))

- Arzachel Lunar Base -

- Pericles Briefing Room -

- Tycho Celchu -

Seeing one of their AWOLs turn up was enough for Tycho, Rhinoah could catch up when she got here.

"Sit down, Lieutenant. We don't stand much on ceremony here."

- Ayin -

Seeing the noisy Lieutenant come in late was about as much as Ayin could take. The man seemed incredibly self important, and had an air about him that suggest what he thought about himself didn't match up with reality. Sitting in the back corner, he watched the new pilot from the corners of his eye.

- James Krager: Port Arzachel viewing platform -

Having moved out to the port itself Krager considered his orders. He was to track down the perpetrators of the destruction of the outpost. Since they were better equipped and organised than the Generals had thought possible, he was to given two Salamis Kai-class cruisers, the Trieste and the Canberra and their GM III teams to assist in taking out the rebels.

- Rawn -

Rawn raised an eyebrow at Riku's almost eagerness at having to kill his own friend like that.

"I'll hold you to that if it goes that far. Is there anything else you wished to share with me?"

"No Sir, That is all."

Inwardly, He knew that Risa was like a sister to him and thus disgusted with himself for saying that he had no interest in her beyond his promise and that he'd kill her if she tried that after recovering what she lost, but he knew it would have to be done if she ever did do that.

"Then you're dismissed."

Rawn began musing to himself after Riku left.
It's obvious he cares about her more than what he told me. Though it doesn't seem to be getting in the way of anything right now. Time will tell with those two. Until then, having them gain experience seems to be the best way to move things along.

Rawn made a note to include them on the regular mobile suit patrols around the fleet in the near future.

(sorry only one comp in the house and my wife hogs it)

Kathryan entered the briefing room, her hair was still damp from the shower she was in the middle of when the call was made.
she saulted. "Luitenent Commander Kathryan Rinoah, Reporting as ordered, please excuse my tardiness."

-Arzachel Lunar Base-

-Pericles Briefing Room-

-Tycho Celchu-

"Well," Celchu continued, "now that we're all here, I can start." He composed himself before continuing.
"As of one hour ago, you have all been assigned to Taskforce Alpha. The purpose of this taskforce is to find and remove the threat that the rebel faction using technology, possible stolen, from Lunar Corp. You should all be familiar with them."
On the screen behind him flashed several images captured during the last skirmish, including the VF-25.
"We will be supported by two cruisers, specifically, the Canberra and Trieste. Lieutenants Kesvig and Rhinoah," Celchu looked at the two pilots, "you will transferring to theCanberraand Trieste respectively to lead the GM III teams. Rogue Squadron and Lieutenant Tollah will stay aboard the Pericles. Lieutenant Tollah, you have officially transferred into Rogue Squadron as Rogue Eleven and will be flying as wingman for Lieutenant Horn." The bearded man nodded in Ayin's direction.
"Now, before I continue, are their any questions?"

-Olympus Mons-
After a few hours of little to nothing Garmin finally spoke once again as a red ship started to draw near.

"So that is Colonel Zan's Renegade..." Aelfhere mumbled.

"General what are your orders?" Asked the communications officer.

Garmin's face flushed red with anger as the young woman interrupted his thoughts. "Hmph, How dare you ask what your orders are! It should be obvious contact the Renegade. Inform Zan that he should prepare for guests."

"Y-yes sir." She said with a bead of sweat dripping down her forehead.

Garmin left the bridge and all the crewman suddenly slouched in their seats and had deep breaths of relief. He made it so tense for no reason at all.

Garmin quickly walked to Victicious quarters and rapped on the door.

"The Renegade is in range. I've had our shuttle readied. I assume you would also like to hear what kind of excuses Zan has for us?"

Victious Sterling

Victious had indeed wanted to see this Zan if merely to get a measure of the man who was in command of the lunar forces.

"Yes; let us go"

He stood from his desk and turned off the Console he had been studying; the data on the Fandom's Lunar Forces visible for a milisecond before the Screen went dark. It was only seconds later that the well dressed General exited his state room and greeted Gamrin with a nod before grabbing the hand grip to begin the short trip to the shuttle.

"So tell me what you've heard of this Colonel Zan; there isn't much information in his records beyond the basic information."

(posting from my cell, may require clean up)
Garmin followed Victious with ease just by kicking off walls.
"He plays at being an engineer, but he seems competent at that atleast."

The two came to the shuttle bay.
"Hes just your common stock. Hes gotten this far just by luck and determination." The two generals entered their shuttle, garmin motioned their escorts to leave.
"I don't think too highly of the man, but he has a firm grip on the territory, and that at least deserves our praise."

Victious Sterling

Victious took his seat as Garmin finished his words matching what he had learned perfectly.

"Then we agree. Yet experience has taught me, one must always beware of 'lucky' men"

The Shuttle began to move, exiting the Hanger as two GN-X III's moved to either side of the shuttle, acting as escorts. The pilot hailed the Renegade requesting landing information.

- Renegade -

Tyber Zann sat in his command chair on the bridge of his personal ship, the Renegade. Built using military resources, it nevertheless belong to him an him alone. Seeing the Olympus Mons and its escorts grow large in the bridges windows. The comms officer spoke up announcing a call from the ship.

"Colonel, we've received a message from the Olympus Mons. It says we should prepare to receive General Garmin Aelfhere and Lord Victious Sterling."

Ugh, Zann thought, those two aren't going to make my life any easier. Of all the generals in the Fandom why did it have to be those two. Aloud he said, "Very well. Open the lower hatch and send the docking procedures to their shuttle. I will meet them in the hanger." Without waiting for a reply, Zann swung up of and around his chair in one practised motion, his custom sidearm swinging at his leg. Exiting the bridge, he made his way to the pressurised part of the hanger to await his superiors.

Outside the lower hatch on the ventral side of the Renegade gaped open like an enormous mouth as the bridge crew relayed the information needed to dock with the ship.

Victious and Garmin's shuttle landed safely and once the hangar was pressurized the two men exited. They were greeted by Colonel Zann himself. A rather wise move for the Colonel.

Garmin approached quickly. "Colonel Zann! It's always a treat to see the powerful Renegade in person!" He said with much energy. "I still say it's a shame we didn't use your design for the rest of the fleet. We are proud to see you still have a firm grip of the lunar territories but a little disappointed that we couldn't be meeting on the lunar surface itself."
