"None here. I'm pretty sure I can handle myself." Its not like I talk to anyone disrespectfully here anyway. Aiden had a casual smile on as he thought to himself.

"Wait, But why would we need to run? I'm pretty confident in our teams and fleet that we can defend ourselves."

-Ryder-

"Well one ship can't stand up to a fleet and even though we are the best at what we do, there just aren't enough of us to fight a war. So making friends is good, besides they have access to LC tech which we need to repair our machines." He gave a nod as the door started to open into the base.

"Now lets show them we're professionals." With that he turned around and headed out into the secret base and the first thing he saw was the navy blue VF-17S Nightmare. He couldn't help but gawk a little at the last production unit LC had released before the fall. It was a beauty, although he knew his VF-25 was still better in the end.

-Messer-

He noticed the Wolf gang led by a man he still considered a newbie coming out of the Salvation. "Glad to see you like my plane." He laughed mocking Ryder.

His attention came to the two who were obviously not fighter pilots or from this universe. The uniforms were just too different. "I see you carry an interesting crowd." He turned to Aiden and looked him over. "Name, Rank, and Machine kid?" He asked this in an intimidating voice.

-Salvation-

The Captain left Ryder in charge of the meeting with the new guys and took this opprotunity to contact DC forces. So he opened a fold communication with the Macht. Once patched through he began his report.

"This is the Redemption with news from the Lunar surface."

The bridge called down to Lily's quarters shortly after Hellbore left with the news of the Salvation's transmission.

"Good, route it here." she ordered as the image of the ship's captain appeared on the screen in her desk.

"It's good to hear from you, Captain. So what's going on down there that required you to rush over right away?"

"Always nice to talk to the lovely Captain Lily." Despite being and older man he tried to be as charming as possible. "Well it seems we have run into some old comrades. I'm sure you've already heard word of the recent string of conflicts down here. Well it seems a nice little size force has gathered under the command of ex-Commander of the Lunar Corp Defense Force Trace Messer. I was honestly surprised to see he survived the take over that forced us out."

Beside him was a glass of water which he promptly sipped before continuing. "To make a long story short, theirs a secret war going on here against the Federation radicals in SNRI. But since DC isn't interested in the the Lunar people we are going to lend our support for the time being. I'm sure you'll find something else to do without us for awhile." He already knew DC's policy regarding the Federation and felt like if they wouldn't do something then he would. After all these were his comrades and family not theirs.

"A war against SNRI radicals? You're saying it's just against them and not the Federation in general?" Lily asked.

If this is true, there could be a power split within the Federation. Depending on how big this is, it could lead to a civil war between SNRI and the main Federation government. Or perhaps even a coup de tat attempt.

- Pericles -

Almost twelve hours after leaving the Arzachel Luna Headquarters, the Pericles limped back into port. The crew and officers of the port facilities were both shocked and appalled at the amount of damage the ship had sustained.

After the docking clamps had been secured the senior staff all left the ship to report their serious findings to the Generals and Admirals of the Headquarters. The pilots had been given orders not to leave the ship and await further orders from either Krager himself or someone higher.

"Well I can't say that..." He started feeling as though he gave the wrong impression. "We had a run in with a Federation battleship and Captain Messer's group assaulted a Federation outpost. This sort of underground war is against the Federation, but due to the way the Federation Lunar forces are situated they are most likely reporting to SNRI instead of the Earth based government. I can not be certain on any of this, but I can speak from past experience as a citizen of the moon. The Federation has oddly given up a lot of control up here since the main war is on Earth."

He wondered what Messer's next plan of action is... He felt something high risk coming on and it could lead to big problems down the road if not handled well.

"But whether or not DC supports our actions, we have a duty to our country men to fight. After all you remember the warp in the Federation mindset after the Anti-newtype order... Someone is pulling the strings up here and we will find out who it is and eliminate them for the sake of peace." Now that wasn't a promise he could keep at all, but he had to say something heroic. And he knew his team probably felt the same way... There was a shadow up here and everyone knew it. The problem was grabbing it by the tail and dragging it into the light.

"I see. That is interesting news in itself. The SNRI has been rumored to have some less than reputable connections before, but no one was ever able to prove any of it. If you can find something there that does prove or expose what they have been doing lately, it would definitely stir up the Federation council in a big way that no one can ignore.

I can't give you any direct support on this, however should you need resupply, I believe I can arrange for an anonymous shipment of general items such as food and ammunition that would be untraceable back to us."

It was a humorless, stern Steve Livingstone that stood in front of the black-colored Meditation Pod deep within his secret base, arms at his sides, staring with apprehension. Steve stifled a frown as he thought of what faced him now --- at this rate and with the Federation and DC growing suspicious, Steve knew he was going to have to accelerate his schedule. There are new elements within the Federation, furthermore --- unforeseen elements --- that might hinder such acceleration, and at this stage, one single mistake could bring everything down into a crashing halt. Heterodyne would have to be ready soon.

And while in theory he was ready, Steve thought as he stared at the Empire Strikes Back-style Meditation Pod in front of him, elevated slightly on a podium...it was still a little too premature. But what choice did he have? With Melodius still in Nighthaven plotting his next course of action and Camilla busy in preparation for the move to Heterodyne, Steve was a little spread thin at this crucial stage.

Besides, he was more powerful than either of them, and his presence would alleviate some of the burdens. But...

Steve nodded, steeling himself. It was time to put theory into practice.

With a snap of the fingers, the Meditation Pod opened from the middle and the top pivoted open, revealing the psycoframe sensors within that lined the inner walls of the Meditation Pod, and Steve took a step forward at that. The inhabitant of the pod, seated in the middle, stared back at him from behind steel eyes.

"Iron Mask." Steve Livingstone greeted his newest and most powerful apprentice with a half-excited, half-stern expression. "Can you hear me?"

Clad in purple and black robes, head obscured behind a steel helmet and mask, the man known as Iron Mask nodded at the inquiry, his voice heavy and steeled from behind the mask. "What is thy bidding, my master?" Iron Mask replied.

Steve paused for a moment, appraising his masterwork.

"Your service is required. It is time for the first test of your abilities." Steve explained bluntly. "You shall act under the full authority of SNRI for this first trial, and head to Earth. There, as an envoy acting 'under' Richter, you shall head to the Ptolemaios and attempt to obtain an audience with its commander."

"You wish for first-hand intelligence on the Innovators?"

Steve nodded. "You are correct, Iron Mask. That is only a secondary purpose, however..." As Steve glanced upwards, Iron Mask's stare remained on his 'Master'. Finally, with a small smile...Steve turned back towards him. "Your main task is to establish contact with a person named Enlight on the Ptolemaios as well and gauge her true intentions in secret --- whether or not she would be a friend or foe to Project Sirene when the time comes. And if needs be, you are to offer your and my assistance to her plans."

Iron Mask gave a small, barely audible breath. "Should this Enlight's intentions amount to a mutiny, my Master...do you wish of me to side with her?"

"I'll leave that to your judgement of the situation, but if the situation requires it, Iron Mask, you have my full authorization to use any means necessary to secure Enlight's assistance." Steve turned around, staring at the exit as he crossed his arms. "The Sinanju will be available to you, and although it is not fully equipped, it should still be more than a match for any of the Innovators' Gundams in the Ptolemaios' arsenal should you come under attack.

"Can it be done, Iron Mask?"

Finally, at that, Iron Mask stood up to his full towering height...and breathed with a hint of malice in his voice.

"It shall be done, my Master. The Ptolemaios, and Enlight...neither will hide any secrets from me..."

- Arzachel Lunar Base -

After giving his report on the incident at the outpost, Colonel Krager was given his orders. He was to, as soon as the Pericles was repaired, defend Federation interests on the moon. While the Federation military had surrendered much of the far side to Fandom control, the bases and outpost that they still controlled ere vital to the Federation war machine in space. No mere terrorists were going to break the tenuous balance the moon was on.

Back on the Pericles, Captain Tycho Celchu had been briefed by Krager and was passing on the orders to his pilots. All of Rogue Squadron had already assembled, as had Ayin Tollah, the man found drifting. They were now waiting on the two newbies, the Jesta and Windam pilots. Celchu had some words from the Major for the latter as well.

-Captain-

"Yes Mame that would be appreciated. I'll keep you up to speed about what happens. Until then just continue with what you would be doing." He disconnected the fold transmition and stood up.

"Alright guys I'll leave the ship in your hands. Get all the ammo you can from these guys. I've got to sit in on the meeting." And with that he left leaving the ship with the capable bridge crew.

About a day after the battle in which Captain Smith was killed and Mai brought on board, a cargo ship approached the Rawn fleet with supplies and transfer orders for two of the pilots.

As Rawn read the orders in his cabin he found that the Twins were being transferred to Earth and that he was getting a pair of Heavyguns to replace them. Signing off that he acknowledged the orders, a transmission was sent directly into the Twin's brains informing them of the change in orders and that they would make a decent directly to Wake Island to prepare for an operation.

Rawn also sent orders to the Arlington to have Riku and Risa transferred over to the Grey Wolf. The pair were inexperienced, but they did show potential, and Rawn wanted to make full use of that potential.

The Twins

The Two were waiting near their machines when the orders came down and, with a simple and perhaps elegant movement, they pushed off the deck and into the open cockpits of their respective machines. they were ready to leave as soon as the final word came down.

Which is precisely what they did as soon as the transport docked; their departure wasn't a tearful one, in fact, by this time, most were happy to see them go. Several mechanics coldn't help but mutter to their nrearest companions.

-Riku/Risa-

An MP soon approached The two and gave them their orders.

Risa: "WHAT?! We're just barely getting used to this ship!"

Riku: "Come on... we'd better not keep the Captain waiting."

Risa, still sulking over the news, followed Riku to the hangar, and the two boarded their Heavyguns then launched and made their way over to the Grey Wolf, Riku opening a channel, spoke clearly to the Bridge Crew of the Ra Calium Class ship.

"Ensign Mizrahi and Utsugi here, requesting permission to land."

"This is the Grey Wolf, permission granted. Use the port hatch and park your machines in slots 7 and 8." came the voice of a operator on the bridge of the ship as the port hatch opened for them to enter.

-Riku/Risa-

"Understood... Come on Risa." The two soon entered through the open hatch and parked their machines in the respective slots mentioned.

"Well, let's go find our quarters..." Risa commented after they got out of their mechs and the two soon departed to find their quarters...

"You can, I'm going to go introduce myself to the captain." Riku then split up from Risa, leaving the poor amnesiac to find her quarters, which she soon did.

-Riku-

He had to ask around to find the Captain's quarters, and an MP kindly escorted him there. Once they arrived, the MP knocked on the door. "Captain? Ensign Mizrahi is here to see you."

-Risa-

She entered the room, and after a quick glance around, figured out that Riku would be using sperate quarters. Nonetheless, Risa decided to go straight to bed.

-Pericles-

"All MS pilots, please assemble in briefing room." An annoucement was heard all over the speakers on Pericles. Erwin heard the announcement and walked quickly towards the brifing room.

When he saw Captain Celchu, he saluted at them immediately.

"Lieutenaut Erwin Von Kevig.... Reporting for duty, SIR!" Erwin's voice trembled abit, as he knew that he did something quite terrible on the last battle, and will likely to be rebuked by his superiors.

-Riku-

The MP nodded to give Riku the ok to enter. The young man did just that and before speaking gave a salute. "It's a pleasure to meet you, sir."

After a moment, He then came to the reason for his coming to visit.

"Well, I just figured i'd tell you a bit about Risa if you're interested... More to the point, what isn't mentioned in her file."

((Just putting a start on Risa's Backstory))

As expected. There was much that was left out of the official records. Her file is far too clean for someone in her posistion.
