Gundamn! @ San Diego Comic Con

Just as a reminder for everyone, Soul Bro and Neo are over on the West Coast at Comic Con, and they'll be blogging and podcasting daily about the con. Check http://www.gundamn.net for these daily posts. Based on a text message from Neo, the first post should be coming up soon.

The first blog is up. Not much time to write, but who cares! There's a link of mad pics from the Bandai-Toynami Booth, plus a little more.

More to come, gang!

I just saw those pictures of the guy that had bought the 00 action figures and would kill to be him right now (I'm pretty much as far as you can be from comic-con in North America). I cringed at the fact that he was taking them out of the packaging, but know in my heart that I could not resist doing the same thing  Can't wait for more pics Soul Bro.

Heck yes. :D
I like these little run down podcasts. It's good for the short walk to work.

I like your coverage of the con so far, I LOL'd at that shot of the back of Kevin's head! I also noticed you seem to take particular care to photograph that Ikki Tousen display, not that I could blame you! I'm also excited by the news of new Macross merchandise I can use some more variable fighters. I really that shot of the fish head at the Robotech panel, brought back memories.

A fair number of the cosplay pics are not showing up in the photo album. Even going to normal view instead of the slideshow doesn't help. The thumbnails are there, but the full size pics are not.

Wow, it hurts me to say this being a Boston fan and all, but those Laker girls are HOT. I also really loved the Gundam and Code Geass models. Keep up the good work gentlemen

Adventures in line sitting, eh?

Somehow waiting in line has become the new hobby of geek culture.

Haha. Trust me guys, I know all about long lines at conventions. At Anime Boston this year, my friends and I waited in line for eight hours trying to get our passes (1PM-to about 9PM). Let me just say that I feel your pain.

Regarding Mobile Ops, I'll sum up my emotions in two words: I'm pissed. I had long given up hope for this game. However, when it actually got released in Japan, that hope returned. Now, it is again disapearing. I was the one who posted the gamestop and gamespot information on the Neo's New's thread (for the record I did tell people to take these release dates with a grain of salt.) Hopefully, when the PR people said they had no more gundam games planned for this year, they ment a very, very, very early 2009 release. Let the praying begin.

Uh... so why wouldn't I understand? I couldn't quite make out what Neo was saying.

Anyways, when I go to cons, I never go to pannels anyways. I just hang out in the dealer's area, buyin stuff or going to see screenings. If a line's too long, I just go find something else to do.

Neo sounds so drunk in the newest podcast! Good for you soul bro getting picked for fight tournament. I feel your pain of not being able to get in to the panels though that must have really been a let down. Also when if ever is Flip The Script coming back?
