If I may, a couple of corrections.
-Penelope without its flight unit is officially referred to as "RX-104 Odysseus Gundam"
-What you've labeled the Land Combat Hyaku Shiki is actually the Hyaku Shiki Kai.

I understand completely.
Also, the Musha Gundam depicted in GFF is more accurately labelled "Shin Musha Gundam" and belongs in the Gundam Musou/Dynasty Warriors: Gundam section, since it's the primary antagonist of that game. Dunno if it qualifies as an MS, since it's apparently an intelligent robotic being.

The Crossbone Gundam Kai Kai "Skull Heart" GFF profile doesn't seem to be the Skull Heart at all. It looks like an ordinary X1/X1 Kai. I don't think it's from FIX figuration either; I think it might be from the MG release.
EDIT: Oh wate, this should go in the profile correction box. Copypasta time...

Actually, that's from the Master Grade Gundam Ver. Ka.
The easiest way to tell the difference between Katoki's Master Grade line art and Gundam FIX line art is that the MG designs are almost always looking directly at the viewer (i.e. the face is perpendicular to the picture plane) whereas the GFF line art almost always has the head tilted downwards and to the viewer's left (i.e. the viewer sees the head in perspective from above and to the Gundam's left).
The body position and perspective probably have some distinctions that are consistent across the model or toy lines, but they're too similar to pick out simple rules like that.
EDIT: A notable exception is the MG Unicorn Gundam, which is identical in both head and body position between the novel and model kit design art- however, the details and proportions are slightly different.

Quote: That's the Master Grade Gundam Ver. Ka. art AGAIN. Master Grade arts have the face pointed directly towards you, FIX figure arts have the face pointed down and to the side. For example, look at these images from the box backs of the Gundam Ver. Ka. GFF and 1/100 GFF Metal Composite:
I got it directly from the Fix Lineart. http://img395.imageshack.us/img395/7326 ... yy0fn9.png
That art is present directly on the box for the Fix Figuration the coloring matches exactly to the front of the box as well. Not to mention it's a dead giveaway because it has unit numbers and patches painted on it, which MG lineart often lacks completely.

Which package is that? The Metal Composite, the new Frame Model Perfect Gundam/RX-78 Ver. Ka, something else...?
It's really strange that they'd use that on a FIX box, since it's essentially identical to the art printed in the MG Gundam Ver. Ka.'s manual, right down to every single marking.

I honestly forget which number but I've seen it on the back of the GFF box for the RX-78.

But are you absolutely sure you've seen the Master Grade-style art with the head forward on a FIX box? As my last post demonstrated, the markings are the same between both versions of the art. Where did you get the image you posted?

The Box art I'm refering to came from a GFF kit, I know because I found that art with it on the side of the box. It came up in a google image hit when I was looking for a cheap GFF Gundam X.

Side? Back? I'm kind of skeptical, because you can see scans of all the Gundam Fix packaging on the Hobby Search web site, and it's pretty clear that this image doesn't appear on any of them. If Red Zaku can't remember which product this appears on, let alone which side of the package, maybe we should just let the matter drop and go on about our lives.
