TFtF Sign-up Thread #3

Yes, it’s that time again. We’ve finished an arc of the RPG’s story and are on the verge of beginning the next. Before we get started with the post bonanza, let me make something clear:

Until your character is approved in this thread by a Trinary member, DO. NOT. POST. IN. THE. RPG.

PLEASE don't 'tl;dr' the following. This took a lot of work, and it's for your benefit. Most character artwork is from my (Fritz') perspective, so if I interpreted your character different from what you had in mind, ...well, too bad I guess. With that said...

**RPG SUMMARY** (UP TO LATE AUGUST, 0087)

The AEUG’s 4th Escort Squadron (commanded by Capt. Carl Abbey) left the moon on July 14th, 0087, guarding 3 unmarked transport ships. Shortly after leaving friendly airspace, the 4th was ambushed by the combined Titans/EFSF Taskforce Echo (commanded by Ltcdr. Andrewson Trent). The initial skirmish at the Moon ended in roughly a draw, with one of the AEUG transports being lost in the opening volley. The AEUG took no other losses, save a Salamis Kai with a damaged engine, the Kukum, and a totaled Nemo from the Chuikov.

The AEUG fleet advanced to Side 4, 27th Bunch "Houston" (because of a small AEUG intelligence team's presence there) to get quick repairs for the Kukum and for rest, but were tailed by Taskforce Echo. While the 4th waited outside the bunch, Fritz Ashlyn went ahead in his Nemo to meet a contact working inside Houston to arrange a safe dock. While there, he was discovered by Titans agents and attacked. Fritz managed to find his contact, Kujo Kobashi, and the two evacuated the latter's apartment to alert the fleet. On the way to the dock section of the colony, Fritz contacted Capt. Abbey and relayed which dock was safe to land in. The 4th landed, and found that the colony's EFSF garrison was sympathetic and willing to provide repairs.

Meanwhile, the Titans had sailed into the side, and found out which bunch the AEUG were docked at. Lt. Wolf Ritter launched of his own accord with just a few wingmen to prepare an attack on the unaware AEUG ships. Massilion Carde and Nick Te'Litha were sent inside the bunch on foot to hunt down Fritz. Trent, the Titans commander, was forced to attack directly because Wolf had launched unordered. More mobile suits were launched to assist his attack.

The EFSF from the colony saw the attack coming and responded with a 4 man MS team, 3 of which were eventually shot down in trying to slow the Titans attack. An alert was raised in the docks, and the AEUG prepared to defend themselves. Abbey told the local Federals that the AEUG was ready to leave the colony to avoid trouble as soon as basic repairs were finished.

Wolf Ritter had arrived at the dock, however, and threatened to open fire on civilian traffic if the AEUG didn't surrender. Abbey lied to Wolf, telling him that if he gave the AEUG fleet 10 minutes, they would fully surrender. Wolf rejected the offer, giving Abbey 5 minutes to arrange a surrender, threatening to destroy civilian shuttles to use as blockading debris every 30 seconds afterward. Wolf saw Fritz' hidden Nemo inside one of the other nearby docks and blew it up. Inside the colony, Massilion and Nick found Fritz and Kujo Kobashi, and tailed them to the dock where Kujo's Nemo was in storage.

With just one minute left, Wolf shot at another shuttle as a warning, crippling it. Abbey had formulated a plan, and prepared to set it in motion. The Titans had made a mistake: Wolf and Stukov's Marasais were the only units guarding the dock exit, their wingmen had been tangled up by the Federal units from the colony. Abbey gave the order, and a blitz of Nemos rushed out of the hangar, providing covering fire. The AEUG fleet opened up with all of their main guns, covering themselves and the transports as the lead ships started leaving; they turned the dock exit into a funnel of mega particle fire. Wolf, in retaliation, destroyed the civilian shuttle and engaged John Arken. Inside Houston, Massilion and Nick caught up to Fritz and Kujo as they got to the dock where Kobashi's mobile suit was hidden. They exchanged gunfire, and Kujo fled into the dock area, quickly followed by the other three.

The Titan fleet moved itself on an intercept path, but hadn't counted on the rebel Federal units being able to hear them relay their orders on the friendly radio channel. A Federal GM pilot named Michiko Sato warned the Gela that Taskforce Echo was moving to contain the fleeing AEUG. The 4th moved in the direction of Side 2, taking up a stronger box formation. Wolf Ritter, growing frustrated and angry that his attack seemed to be failing, entered the colony and threatened to blow up an elementary school if the AEUG didn't surrender. Federal security units responded, and Wolf destroyed one of them and part of the school. Wolf exited Houston, bluffing that the Titan fleet was preparing to fire nuclear missiles at the colony. The colony's EFSF commander, Yurius von Gyuden, tried to call Wolf's bluff, but Capt. Abbey intervened after Andrewson Trent made an announcement backing up Wolf's story. Von Gyuden lied, offering himself to the Titans as a prisoner and saying that the rebellion had been only a few units. Yurius arranged a ceasefire with Echo, and control of loyalist Federal Forces at 27th Bunch were turned over to LtCol. David Kleinhans.

The battle outside died down, with both sides withdrawing their mobile suits for refueling and damage control. Fritz found and activated Kujo's Nemo, and made his escape with a wounded Kobashi. Michiko, the Federal GM pilot, decided to defect, and landed on the Gela. The 4th escaped, with damage to several ships and the loss of Nemos, and they set course for Side 2 where their first delivery was scheduled.

Taskforce Echo docked at 27th, and Commander Trent and a new arrival, Commodore Wolf Ritter XXIV (commander of a new Alexandria-class, the Kirov), met with Kleinhans to discuss the internal uprising. Echo underwent quick repair and resupply before they continued their pursuit of the 4th. Trent transferred his command to the Kirov, with Commodore Ritter stationed onboard as an “observer”, and pilots were reassigned to the Alexandria, which just happened to be loaded with new mobile suits and equipment.

The 4th arrived at Side 2, 18th Bunch with little incident, and linked up with the Side’s AEUG “security” ship, the Hamburg. The cargo transfer went off without a hitch (even though only half of the goods had arrived due to the loss of Transport 1), and Abbey made a deal with the Hamburg’s captain, André Loweno, that supplied the 4th with three ballutes and a Magellan reentry capsule. On July 18th, the 4th was joined by the Hamburg and the reinforced unit turned their attention to earth and the final cargo drop.

July 21st saw the 4th in orbit, closely followed by Taskforce Echo. The Titans, resupplied back at Side 4, had also had the luck to run into the Federal 38th Patrol Squadron, led by Commander William Spangrud, who were quickly pressed into service. A running battle in orbit began, during which the Magellan capsule (piloted by Fritz Ashlyn) and its escorts (John Arken, Marcus Allen and James MacAlpin) safely entered the atmosphere closely followed by a small pursuit unit (Aleksandr Stukov, Mercedes Ritter, and Erebus Jones). The 38th Patrol Squadron was entirely destroyed due to Spangrud's rashness and arrogance, giving the 4th an opening to escape Echo's numerical superiority.

The 4th’s drop team landed safely at the Karaba-controlled Vandenberg base in California, escorted by the famous Audhumla. At the nearby Titans/EFF Hickory Base, the Kirov’s drop team also landed, joining up with an attack force that was forming up with the help of the Garuda-class Mina Harker. The Karaba forces pressed the AEUG representatives into service to help with an attack on Hickory Base, pre-empting the planned Titans offensive. During the fighting, Amuro Ray shot down an experimental Asshimar unit piloted by the Titan ace Gilliarme Lasalle, though not without severely damaging his own Rick Dias in the process. Although they shot down a number of Titan Hizacks, the Karaba forces ultimately decided to break off their raid and withdraw to Vandenberg, whereupon Stukov immediately formed a pursuit wing in hopes of maximizing damage. With a number of regulars and Titans, Stukov led his attack all the way into Vandenberg, but the Karaba defense, with the aid of the AEUG forces, ultimately forced them to fall back. After the Federation was driven back, Karaba prepared a missile silo launch system to put the 4th’s drop team back in orbit to be picked up.

Meanwhile, in orbit, the 4th had managed to put distance between themselves and Taskforce Echo, and had a small window to conduct emergency repairs. At this point the 4th began picking up a weak distress signal from a damaged Irish-class battleship, the Dervish.

On earth, John Arken and Marcus Allen agreed to stay behind with the Karaba, and Hayato Kobayashi informed Fritz that in exchange for the badly needed supplies the 4th had dropped, they would be sending a dozen Rick Diases to space for the AEUG. Once the mobile suits were loaded into the launch vehicles, the Audhumla took off to provide security and Fritz and James MacAlpin (along with the transferred Karaba pilot, Wes Curren) were sent back into orbit.

Hickory’s commander, Colonel Nathan Cross, launched a bombing mission shortly thereafter, and Vandenberg was leveled in the attack. Gilliarme Lasalle was transferred to Taskforce Echo as punishment for totaling the Asshimar, and the Echo unit was sent back into space using the mass driver at California Base. Unbeknownst to the AEUG pilots involved, Celeine Caro’d the field reporter snuck onboard one of the shuttles and hitched a ride into space.

During the earthside operation, the 4th caught up to and formed up around the Dervish. As it turned out, the Dervish had been operating in orbit, and as a result of several battles suffered serious damage and the deaths of ten of their dozen pilots as well as the captain and most of the bridge crew. Abbey transferred his command to the Dervish for the pickup operation, and soon Echo was back on the scene.

One last battle ensued in orbit, leading to the destruction of the 4th’s Kukum and Echo’s Andropov as well as numerous pilot deaths on both sides. The Titan pilot, Ed Rigney, was captured by the Hamburg’s MS team, but he is critically injured and remains in a coma. The 4th manages to escape Taskforce Echo yet again, and they set course for Side 4. On the way, through Celeste Angelina and Celeine Caro’d, Fritz Ashlyn learns that not only is Wolf Ritter piloting a mobile suit for Echo (and that Nick may want him dead), but also that Nick Te’litha was engaged to Celeine’s sister.

After the series of orbital battles came to a conclusion, the AEUG 4th Advance Squadron and the Irish-class Dervish retreated to Von Braun City. The Titans/EFSF Combined Taskforce Echo pursued, but were recalled to Gryps for an upcoming operation.

At Gryps, the pilots of Taskforce Echo were given shore leave. It was during this time that Alpha Team pilot Erebus Jones was killed by a homemade bomb thrown by an angry teenager. In the ensuing security lockdown, all Titan personnel were recalled to the garrison. Echo was re-designated the Titan Autonomous Raider Taskforce Echo and had its EFSF elements removed, with two new ships assigned to replace them and also ace pilots Alpha A. Bate and Lon Kou. They were also assigned to take part in the upcoming operation to capture the Von Braun City port.

The 4th Escort Squadron, meanwhile, docked at Von Braun City, whereupon the squadron's sponsor, Sir Maximilian Gates III, wheeled and dealed with the other AEUG sponsors in order for his squadron to retain the Dervish and Hamburg permanently. He was successful, and thus the 4th was redesignated the 4th Advance Squadron, now a regular combat unit rather than an escort detail. The 4th also received replacements and new ships, including Yurius von Gyuden, escaped from incarceration, to take command of the Gela, and OYW aces Roy Grunwald and Ian Greydon

The 4th Advance Squadron was assigned to take a defensive position above Von Braun City. It was during this time that the Titan fleets and taskforces arrived to carry out Operation Apollo. Jamaican Dannigan, the man in charge of the operation, had a last-second idea to use Taskforce Echo, with an attached Republic of Zeon unit (the 9th Expedition Squadron), as a diversion in order to draw the bulk of the AEUG forces in Von Braun away from the port. Echo was sent into low orbit to approach the city.

After much determination, the AEUG mistakenly decided that the approaching Taskforce Echo comprised the main Titan offensive, and sent the 4th Squadron to intercept it. After a brief, yet vicious, encounter on the Lunar surface, Echo received confirmation that the diversion had been successful, and that Echo was cleared to withdraw. The 4th, meanwhile, did not receive news of the fall of Von Braun due to Minovsky interference.

Still under the mistaken impression that Taskforce Echo had comprised the main Titan offensive, and unable to contact the conquered Von Braun City, those in charge of the 4th Squadron found themselves confused and in a conundrum. Fritz Ashlyn, however, had learned during the battle that they had been fighting the same unit the 4th had faced in the orbital battles and at Houston Colony. Carl Abbey wanted to withdraw his unit back to the city to assess the situation and not leave the port undefended, but the sponsor, Sir Maximilian Gates, urged him not to let the Titan unit escape so easily. In order to fulfill a personal agenda with the Ritter family, Fritz sided with Gates' view, and thus Abbey grudgingly agreed to take off after Echo.

With the 4th Squadron in pursuit, Nick Te'litha convinced Andrewson Trent to turn and finish the fight. Nick's reasons were inspired largely by the revelation that his late fiancée's sister, Celeine Caro'd, was aboard the Dervish, and that the ace AEUG pilot Celeste Angelina had some kind of access to captured Titan pilot Edward Rigney. Trent, interested in tying up unfinished business with the AEUG formation he'd failed to defeat at Houston and in orbit, agreed to turn and fight, but not until Echo had reached the shoal zone of Side 2, former Hatte Province.

In the Side 2 shoal, Echo prepared an ambush. The 4th Squadron, meanwhile, stopped just outside the debris. Once again, Abbey preferred to call off pursuit and return to Von Braun, but Fritz and Gates twisted his arm until he agreed to at least send a small scouting party to check the immediate area. The Salamis Kai-class vessels Gela and Thunderchild proceeded inward.

The two cruisers were soon overwhelmed by Echo's trap. The rest of the 4th moved in to help the ships pull out, but soon enough the entire squadron was surrounded by what was apparently a much larger Titan unit than they had been pursuing. In what proved to be the messiest, most violent battle between the 4th Squadron and Taskforce Echo yet, the Gela and Thunderchild were both lost, as was Echo's Hades, along with heavy mobile suit losses on both sides. Deaths included former Zeon OYW ace Roy Grunwald, the recently-defected Yurius von Gyuden, and Ritter family member Mercedes Ritter. OYW Federal ace Lon Kou was captured in the course of the fighting, and Dante Diotrephes was put under arrest after attempting to assassinate team member Nick Te'litha during the chaos. Sir Maximilian Gates was rendered into a catatonic state.

In spite of being surrounded and ambushed, however, the 4th managed to escape without suffering complete annihilation. With the Dervish's Team 3 holding off and defeating Echo's rear flank attack (but not without the loss of almost all of the Hamburg Team’s Nemos) and forcing the Buxoro and Ipswich to retreat, the ship's Team 1, along with New Yark Team troublemaker Pan Heyden, smashing through and completely destroying the Republic of Zeon unit, the 4th had a clear lane of retreat back out the way they came. The apparent Titan reinforcements proved to be newly-developed inflatable dummies. The AEUG unit managed to fight their way out of the shoal, and Trent, disappointed and with a badly battered taskforce, opted not to pursue them.

With their units heavily damaged, the 4th had to wait outside the shoal for repairs. They received communications from the Argama, but were unable to respond due to damaged comm lasers. Fritz came clean to Abbey about his true intentions for voting to pursue Echo, and the 4th learned that Blex Forer had been killed, that Von Braun City had been captured and subsequently liberated, and that the Titans had made a failed attempted at dropping 27th Bunch onto Luna.

Echo, after their disastrous victory, limped back to Gryps. Trent lambasted his subordinates for infighting and self-centeredness during the battle and called upon them to work as a brotherhood from then on.

That brings us to the current events of the RPG, which can be read in the ongoing threads...

Jonathan MacGregor

Age: 33
Rank: Lieutenant
MS: (I'll leave this up to you guys)
Profile: Blond hair, tall, muscular, has a tattoo of a red falcon from when he was a fighter pilot.

Bio: Lt. MacGregor was a fighter jet pilot during the earlier part of the One Year War and was later given a RGM-79L GM Light Armor when he was transfered to space in the end of the war. MacGregor feels as though he let down millions of people when he was a part of the naval review that could of stopped the colony drop, only to be hindered by a nuclear attack which crippled his GM. He immediately left the EFSF and worked as a test pilot for Anaheim Electronics at Van Braun City for awhile. A little while after the Colony 30 incident, he heard loose talk about the AEUG and eventually joined. MacGregor was a part of the 18th Escort Squadron until it dissolved and its members became a part of various units. MacGregor displays himself as an arrogant tough guy but is actually quite smart, especially when it comes to mobile suit mechanics.

On the day Aaron arrived at Gryps 1 he had the misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. When the Gundam Mk. Assignment: Salamis Kai-class Buxoro

Lieutenant Elijah Robin
Age: Twenty-Nine
Affiliation: Titans

Appearance

A few inches shy of six feet Elijah is of a thin build, though the slight tone of a soldier is apparent. His hair is an unkempt auburn which falls just past his left eye, the right parted open revealing a single dark brown heavyset hue for sharpshooting purposes. He tends to prefer a casual approach in terms of uniform upkeep, more often then not leaving a button or two undone as the slim fit black garb clings somewhat to his thin form.

History

An early Flydart pilot of the seldom mentioned EFAF, Ensign Robin took part in early operations intercepting Zeon Atmospheric Entry vehicles. His time with the Swarm Squadron encountered little of the infamous mono-eyed warriors of Zeon. The first and only encounter led a then overly confident Elijah to enter a skirmish with a standard Zaku, a single tracer clipping the Flydart's nose resulted in a botched ejection as the Ensign lost temporary use of his left leg as he underwent reconstructive surgery. Following rehabilitation and permanently in need of a simple cane Robin was transferred to Southeast Asia and assigned to the Artillery division as an operator of a RX-75 Guntank Mass Production Type. The limited mobile capabilities placed less stress on a still weakened leg.

His proficiency in long-range situations coupled with the assistance of commissioned pain killers Elijah took the helm of the RG-79[G] GM Ground Type before later transferring to its Sniper counterpart. Amongst pilots in the Southeast Asia area Elijah was considered a Sharpshooter, having tallied a number of confirmed distanced kills earned Elijah the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade and the rarely referred to moniker 'Longbowman of Cambodia'. Following the events at Jaburo and still bounded to Earth as the war escalated in space Elijah Robin was recommissioned to work as a military grade test pilot for ranged mobile suits, taking the helm of the many RGM-79 and RGC-80 variations. Operation Stardust and the formation of the Titans passed in time as Elijah grew restless of Earth and was soon to request reassignment. This came, however, before he could do so as he was chosen to join the Titans after both his combat record and data of his tests with the RGM-79Q GM Quel. Now with the black dress of a Titan and the insignia of Lieutenant, Elijah has found a new frontier to practice his passion.

Here she goes! IKE!

...sorry, been watching too much Super Robot Wars. -_-

Name: Cara Shiranui
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Affiliation: Titans
Rank: Ensign
MS: Hi-Zack
Appearance: Cara Shiranui is a soft spoken girl who stands at around 5'4" and weighs in at around 42 kg. She is of Filipino-Japanese descent, with black hair and brown eyes.

She usually keeps her hair untied, but when it comes to important meetings or social gatherings she keeps it tied in a nice ponytail or a bun, where appropriate. She follows the uniform code strictly, and always shows respect for other officers regardless of her rank.

History: Born in the Philippines to a Filipina mother and a Japanese father, Cara was one of the survivors of the One Year War. Her mother died while giving birth to her. Her father was a former pilot for the Federation, but soon retired after he lost an arm. After the war, they moved to Japan, where Cara grew up normally. She pursued a college degree in nursing, and was on her first year when her father, who still carrying deep hatred for the Zeon, asked her to enlist in the military and fight against the space rebels. She initially refused, but changed her mind when her dad passed away a month later.

Honoring her father's wish, she joined the academy, hoping to be one of the elite Titans. Although she suffered from ribbing and . In time she learned how to use guns, operate military vehicles, and most importantly, how to behave and live like a true soldier. She threw herself wholeheartedly into her training, with the result that she's apt to behave as though she's on parade, at all times.

Piloting a mobile suit was... difficult, to say the least. Cara was highly susceptible to motion sickness, even once passing out from dizziness. She stuck to her guns, however, refusing to give up, wanting to be a mobile suit pilot like her father, finding the answer in special drugs designed to help her adjust to piloting; Cara takes these drugs regularly when piloting (the drugs are a Pentazemin/Valium deriviative descendent) to calm herself and to be able to move and not throw up. Cara's performance eventually went up and she graduated near the top of her class, and was scouted for the Titans.

While Cara is normally a soft-spoken person, if she's unable to take her drugs she experiences withdrawl symptoms, becoming agressive (physically and sexually), having hallucinations, tsundere-like mood swings and suicidal tendancies. It was decided, however, to keep her in the Titans and to use her "medication" as a means of keeping a leash on a young pup that has great potential to become an effective attack dog.

Cara's new assignment is to Task Force Echo. While this isn't her first ship tour, it's her first tour on an Alexandria, and she's looking forward to the new experiences, new people, new enemies...

Cara believes in the Titans and that her cause is right. She believes whole-heartedly that the Titans are doing the right thing, or at least with good intentions.

In terms of skill, Cara is a balanced pilot. She's good with her beam saber rifle, but more accuarte with, surprisingly, the 120mm machinegun.
I am the bone of my sword.

I have no regrets, this is my only path.

Assignment: Backup pilot, Salamis Kai-class New Yark.

Name: Terrace Manosk
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Affliation: AEUG
Rank: Ensign
Suit: MSA-003 Nemo

Appearance: Messy red hair. Green eyes. Pale skin. Wears the standard AEUG uniform with the sleeves rolled up to just under his elbows with fingerless gloves.

Bio: Born on Earth, his father was killed during the Battle of A Bao Qu. He later read in the news about the horrors commited by the Titans. Not feeling any particular hatred for Spacenoids himself, except for the most evil of the Zeon (who he believes to all be dead by now), he joined the Earth Federation MS Academy at 18 after hearing of the AEUG. He graduated with above-average grades and defected on his first mission, attempting to take an RMS-179 GM II with him. His flight was somewhat hastened by rumors that the Titans were conscripting pilots from the EFSF without their consent (an untrue rumor, but Terrace gladly used it as an excuse to defect). On his way out, he was attacked by another GM II, which was under orders to kill him. Terrace won the fight, managing his first Mobile Suit kill. However, his suit was heavily damaged in the fight and was scrapped for parts when he finally linked up with AEUG forces. He was then assigned a Nemo. He hopes to stop the Titans in their reign of terror.

Name: Richard 'Rick' Archer
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Affiliation: AEUG
Rank: Ensign
Suit: MSA-003 Nemo

Appearance: medium height with medium long black hair and green eyes, quite but decisive.

Bio: Born on the moon and raised in a medium income family; Richard lived an unremarkable youth till the OYW broke out and his family decided to flee to side 6. The family lost most of it's savings because of the move and his father committed suicide soon after. To supply for his mother and (at the time) 8 year old sister he quit school took a job working with construction MS.

He adapted quickly and was noted as the best pilot of the construction team. Near the end of the War the NT-1 incident occurred and his mother was killed by stray federation fire leaving him and his sister alone. When the war finally ended he used the last of his savings to move back to the moon and took a job with AE where he piloted experimental mobile suits.

Four months ago he got in trouble for attacking a Titan Member who had started dating his sister and due to pressure from the event lost his job as a test pilot. Someone who had worked with him many times at AE came to him and revealed themselves to be a supporter of the AEUG and suggested that if Rick had nothing else to do he should join the AEUG. Rick agreed on the spot and left all of his (substantial) savings to his sister before going.

Rick now follows orders faithfully and without compliant only showing care for his faraway sister.

Yeah, that profile is rejected in every way possible. We aren't allowing any more Zeonic characters, since we already have too many as it is, let alone ones that are from Neo Zeon or are family of real characters like Nimbus Schterzen. Also, you are never going to get a Gundam or EXAM system.

If are actually serious about joining the Titans, your character is going to have to be a typical Titan grunt, meaning he (or she, if you want to do a female) isn't connected to any famous people, he isn't going to be an ace (We also highly recommend that your character have not fought in things like the One Year War or Stardust, make him a newer pilot), and what mobile suit you get will be determined after your character's history gets approved (And even then, you'll almost certainly get either a stock Hizack or Marasai). Just look at the other profiles in this thread for an idea of what we will accept.

There are a few problems with this profile. The first is that you can't have a GM Custom, you'll be getting a Nemo, so I changed that for you. Second, I removed the rank, since we'll give you your rank when we know where you'd be placed in the AEUG forces.

Now, you'll have to edit this part yourself, but the motivation part needs to go, since the Titan's haven't allied with Axis yet (Although that event is coming up), so obviously that can't inspire your character.

Finally, note that if you do wish to join the AEUG, you might not get a mobile suit right off the bat, you'll likely be brought in as a reserve pilot who does other stuff on a warship and only pilots a mobile suit when a regular pilot is taken out of action (Either they get killed or hurt or whatever), since right now, we don't have any more space for combat pilots and we already have several other reserve pilot characters waiting for their chance, so, naturally, you'd go right to the back of the line.

while reserving a place to become battle pilot. i decided to make my character a mechanic-battle pilot.

while i'm still waiting to replace other chara,i'll be working as mechanic. but if there's a slot for me to be a pilot,i'll be a battle pilot. while i'm still as a mechanic,my MS is Ball. but when it's time for me to go war,i change my MS to Nemo. i'll leave my Ball and change to Nemo. is it allright?

i've changed my character profile up there. please check it and if there's still any mistake, feel free to tell me.

No, while you are a mechanic... you are a mechanic and you work on the ship. You won't be flying anything, unless, of course, a normal pilot is unable to fly for whatever reason and then you'd take over. So yeah, no RB-79.

Also, drop the test pilot bit. Long explination cut short... ya don't need to be a test pilot.

Name: Timothy 'Tim' Melton
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Affliation: Titans
Rank: Ensign
Suit: RMS-106 Hi-Zack

Appearance: Crew-cut blue hair. Blue eyes. Pale skin. Wears standard Titans uniform with jacket open, showing red undershirt.

Bio: Born on Earth, his father was killed during the Battle of Solomon. Later, he heard about the Delaz fleet's Operation Stardust, and personally witnessed part of the colony drop from a distance (He lived in Atlanta at the time, and a portion of the colony passed overhead). Wanting to fight the Zeon, he joined the EFSF MS Academy the next year. Though gaining excellent scores when he graduated, his roommate, Cadet Terrace Manosk, was showing a curious lack of enthusiasm whenever the subject of the elite Titans was brought up. After graduation, he caught wind of Terrace's plan to defect to the AEUG, and made his superiors aware of the situation just before Terrace bolted. Tim was then assigned to shoot him down. Tim didn't manage to kill Terrace, but he caused heavy damage to Terrace's GM II, and survived getting his own suit shot out from under him. Upon review of the incident, Tim's attempt to stop the defector was listed as a failure, but he was credited with a Mobile Suit kill. When the offer from the Titans came through, Tim gladly accepted. He pilots a Hi-Zack, but hopes to be selected to pilot the RMS-108 Marasai.

The only problem I have with that profile, Terrace, is the following:

"[Tim] transferred to Taskforce Echo in order to either beat some sense into Terrace in combat... or kill him for violating his oath to serve the EFSF."

It implies Tim was assigned to Echo for the specific purpose of fighting one specific person, which is honestly a little silly. Let's take that part out.

This looks like a great RP! I am more knowledgeable with the One Year War era than the Gryps Conflict era, but I should fair well.

Name: Johnathon Roma Miller

Age: 45
Allegiance: AUEG
Mobile Suit: MSA-003 Nemo

Appearance: The man is roughly 5' 8" with long curly brown hair. John has blue eyes and wears a white and orange outfit. He is fairly muscular.

Personality: Johnathon comes from a British family and has a foul mouth when mad. Though he isn't the best pilot, he has a great understanding of mobile suits from his days as a mechanic. Though he can be tough to understand, John is usually right when it comes to explaining.

History: Johnathon was enlisted to the Federation as a mechanic in U.C. 0077. Once mobile suit pilots were needed, John attempted to pass training to be a pilot. He failed and was put back as a mechanic. It was at Jaburo that John worked at until a few weeks before the attack by Zeon. He was sent a new location, a base in Australia. He stayed with the Federation until U.C. 0084, where he transferred to the Titans with the same job, though he now was stationed on a Salamis. Not long afterwards he was offered a position as pilot, accepting it. He didn't stay long, hearing what the Titans did. His first attempt at defecting failed, but he wasn't found as a defector. The second attempt of his, John was with a young woman that had fallen in love with him. Their escape was in a GM Quel and it was not only noticed, but largely destroyed. The woman was put in a coma but soon died after the two boarded an AUEG vessel. Johnathon has only recently recovered from his injuries and mental state of depression, with a new hatred for the vile people in the Titans.

Sounds fun, I'd like to join:
(Let me know if I need to change something)

Name: Tyler August
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Affliation: Titans
Rank: Ensign
Suit: TBA

Appearance: 6' 1". Light brown hair. Brown eyes, with a greenish under-tint in the right light. Will wear Titans uniform when it calls for it but dislikes the jacket collar immensely and tends to go without the jacket, preferring a lighter fitting undershirt that is Titan Colors

Personality: Could be described as "Optimistic Fatalism". While he morbidly believes that what will happen will happen, no matter what you do. You might as well have fun and enjoy the ride into what awaits. As such he is perceptive, always keeps an open mind, and tries new things.

Bio: Born on Earth and was 13 when the OYW occurred. With the naivety that comes with being a boy that age and with no real news of the war save what Federation propaganda turned out, David became fascinated with mobile suits. After a little time Tyler joined the EFSF MS Academy. While not the best in his classes or aptitude tests the Titans scouted him for his rather ingenuous/unorthodox tactics in MS exercises. (Shortening bazookas and removing the proximity fuses on scattershot to create ad-hoc shotguns was one amongst other tactics, to give you an idea of how he thinks)

EDIT: Some of the his childhood went a little long in retrospect, so I trimmed much of it out

Karl was a space born from a middle class family. His love of the ocean brings him to earth and enlisted in the Federation naval force. His college degree helped him to graduate as officer rather than seaman. However, his first year at sea was coloured by frequent sick leave. It seems that his love of sea doesn’t make him immune to the boredom and the harshness of live at sea. Nevertheless, his superiors see him as talented and competent figure.

UC 0079, the start of war ends with a tragedy for the Federation. After Loum and Operation British, the Federation space fleet are in dire need of fresh recruitments. Karl accepted the offer to serve in the space fleet. He entered acceleration class and before long he proves his sharp wit in space tactics and strategy. He wrote several essays about modern ship to ship tactics after the introduction of Minovsky Particles. That brings him to graduate with flying colours.

His first post was as the XO of a Salamis class cruiser. The ship left the earth and took part in several skirmishes. The ship was damaged badly and was forced to dock for a major repair. Interestingly, Karl was recruited for commanding a small Public class gunboat. He and his crew were awarded with outstanding courage when they flown two sorties in Solomon when other ship of its class were massacred in large numbers. His request for transfer was denied but he was given command of a small taskforce for A Baoa Qu campaign. He and his team were credited with successful attacks on highly prized target before his ship was gunned down on his second attempt.

After the war he got marriage and left the service for a year. He joined back and assumed his old past as XO in another Salamis. Latter he was promoted as Captain to command the ship after his skipper retire from active service. He didn’t take part in 0083 fiasco and latter he was posted alongside with Titans taskforce. As a professional solider Karl was sure that a private army inside a federation would not go well and would turn into a dictatorship. As a space born, he developed a disgust and personal hate toward the Titans’ harsh conduct to spacenoids.

In UC 0086, his family moved to Luna. Karl left active duty and defected to AEUG with several of his colleagues.
