For an eleven year old, he's pretty good at hand drawing mechs, although i cant realy tell what the right arm is doing, so if it was clearer then it'd be excellent. Reminds me of EVA/Alien/That starwars droid.

One arm is the cannon and the other is holding the chain of ammo. It's more clearer if you make it full size

I strongly urge you to encourage your little brother. He has potential, and some of the sketches show that he also has a growing awareness of perspective & foreshortening.

Make sure it's not to the detriment of his schoolwork, though.
naw, he usually gets 85% to 95% in his tests
