Dust Tactics wargame anyone played it?

Hi all,

First time in a game shop for around 6 months and I see mounds of terrific looking box sets for mecha and figures for something called Dust, wondering if anyone has played it and might have a review for ease of play and expected av spend to build a unit (or however they do it?)

I'm more of a miniatures gamer myself than a boardgamer, but I have picked up Dust Tactics. The models are pretty good, but I was not a big fan of the rules - they play like an extremely simple wargame. That said, Fantasy Flight has also produced a set of real wargame rules for the game called "Dust Warfare" which are much better

Both games are meant to be played with a lot of models - I think four boxes of infantry and two walkers per side is a small-sized game.

The best place to find reviews of Dust Tactics would be BoardGameGeek

Thank you, will have a good look through. I am more of a roleplayer but am interested in a bit of wagaming with mecha's, just haven't found a system that suits me yet.
