Alright bought Gundam UC today. Have to say chances are pretty good of this going to america. Alot of the menus are in english but theres still a great bit of it in Japanese. So hopefully thats a good sign.
Haven't really played alot of the missions just the training sims. Combat is pretty epic looking though. Once I get off tonight I'll try and post some more info.

After watching a youtube video, it appears the custom cast mode is the only mode which allows you to free pickly your own mobile suit. The missions are plotless and features enemies that are a mixed of both Federation and Zeon, with boss mobile suits that are non-character specific. This mode is even more liberal than Gundam Senki's Mercenary Free Mode in terms of plot and alignment.

Gosh I love Gundam 0081's free mission mode. Literally put over 80 hours in that.

Just realised that MS suits are kept as a per unit of stock basis. So if you want to deploy two Jegans, you would need to purchase the two of them, and for upgrades, they're upgraded on a per unit basis as well. So if someone is afraid that their upgraded unit will break the game, they can also purchase a fresh unit for the original stats.
Currency seems to be pretty rare in this game, I think it will be as difficult as Senki 0081 to farm points.
Can someone confirm what difficulty modes there are?

This has me excited as well, at least the base game is free. I'm crossing my fingers that if this gets popular they might start putting units in from outside the OYW era, like with Senjō no Kizuna. Also if it's in I'm piloting a Fanfan.

That one is still not confirmed for a console release either, so unfortunately unless there is an arcade nearby then we can' t play.
Gundam Battle Operation confirmed for June 28th. Anyone else ready to play this? Have we already exchanged psn's? Mine is in my sig.
