Black Getter using the spiral getter beam (which it never did in the OVA, manga maybe? )

I'd say most likely fake, but if they are than the guy that made them did a hell of a job making them look realistic.

It used the Spiral Getter Beam in episode 8. It also has it in SRW D.DuelGundam2099 wrote:Black Getter using the spiral getter beam (which it never did in the OVA, manga maybe? )

Ah Black Getter you were SUCH a lackluster secret/extra unit in Alpha 3.
Re: Super Robot Wars Z 2
Ladies and gentlemen I present to you the official announcement of Super Robot Wars Z2: Requiem of Boss Borot err I mean Regeneration Chapter:
http://www.siliconera.com/2012/01/17/th ... for-april/
http://blog.esuteru.com/archives/5730079.html
Aside from Macross Frontier: Wings of Goodbye, Code Geass R2, Gundam 00 Season 2, and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann's second movie (meaning Tengen Toppas are confirmed), we have two new anime joining the fray and they are...............
Apparently Banpresto forgot Grendizer and I was kind of hoping for Layzner, but this is all good either way. Only real disappointment outside of no Grendizer/Gattaiger I have is the lack of Votoms: Big Battle (I thought it would work), but oh well. Release date is April 5th!
Edit: Gentlemen we have scans!

Spoiler
Macross Dynamite 7 and Tetsujin 28! Yes, you read correctly, the Macross 7 OVA Banpresto forgot about in Destiny and Alpha 3 and MOTHER F**KING GIGANOTR!

Re: Super Robot Wars Z 2
Well, its the 80s Tetsujin 28, although I would've preferred the 2004 version, but this is still cool. I'm guessing that Shinkiro will be on the cover of Z2 Regeneration, I hope it does, cause even though the Lancelot is the mascot mech of Code Geass, its still an enemy unit for most of the game and STAYS an enemy even at the end of Z2 Destruction.

On one hand, I love the 80's Tetsujin design, but on the other hand, that series has the only Black Ox design I don't like.

Re: Super Robot Wars Z 2
Wow a release date and all huh.
Cool, be interested in this one.
Out of the new entries Tetsujin is a surprise.
Macross 7, I hope we get all the 7 Alpha 3 units and Battle 7 as a ship.

Re: Super Robot Wars Z 2
Not likely. They don't play any part in the OVA, so why would they show up in the game? We do get Gamlin and his VF-22S though.Mu La Flaga wrote:Wow a release date and all huh.

Official pics on Famitsu have been released.
http://www.famitsu.com/news/201201/19008408.html
Standing Tortoises, Virgo 1s, and Metal Beasts are confirmed as enemies with Marshydog as one of Chirico's armored troopers. I can't tell what Lancelot is fighting exactly, although by the look of the foot and air glide it's probably an akatsuki.

Re: Super Robot Wars Z 2
Well, since we get Basara in his original Fire Valkyrie, even pre-Sound Booster, I'd say it's more than possible to see Battle 7 here. And the official inclusion of Macross 7 on Famitsu says "Macross 7/Macross Dynamite 7."Wingnut wrote:Not likely. They don't play any part in the OVA, so why would they show up in the game? Aaaaand we get Basara.....in a custom VF-22 as well. ^^b
It'll be really fun to use the original Wing Zero; it was always my favorite of the GW mechs, and moreso than the Wing Zero Custom.
The page won't load for me. >.>

Anyway, now that the New Masou Kishin and Z2 part two are both pretty much taken care of, I hope Banpresto gets back to work on 2nd OG!!

Re: Super Robot Wars Z 2
You know I don't see the point of adding in Tetsujin since in the end Tetsujin is going to be a unit with 3 or so attacks (Hammer Punch, Flying Kick, and I think some kind of spinning move or suplex). However I can only hoping that adding in Tetsujin means that for Z3 or something they replace Tetsujin with Tetsujin 28 FX.

Re: Super Robot Wars Z 2
Adding Tetsujin 28 FX in Z3 can also make a good segway to put Giant Robo back in SRW as well, who knows, maybe even add in a team/combo special with Tetsujin 28 FX and Giant Robo.Mark064 wrote:You know I don't see the point of adding in Tetsujin since in the end Tetsujin is going to be a unit with 3 or so attacks (Hammer Punch, Flying Kick, and I think some kind of spinning move or suplex). Re: Super Robot Wars Z 2
Better: Tetsujin 28 in a combination attack with Jintetsu.
Re: Super Robot Wars Z 2
With FX Tetsujin 28 FX and Black Ox would have some awesome combo attacks right there, same with the 80s Tetsujin but Black Ox was really lame in that anyways. So you can have a nice tri combo of Tetsujin 28 FX, Black Ox and Giant Robo.

Re: Super Robot Wars Z 2
Decided to ask in the Z2 thread instead of making a new thread just to ask a question.
So I finally got my hands on SRW Z, but I can't find a game guide around. The closest thing is a guide for Rand's route on Gamefaqs, but it's more focused on translating the story for non-JP readers than being an actual guide. (plus it doesn't have Setsuko's route)
So are multiple endings for Rand like there are for Setsuko? And how do you get the endings? (for both Rand and Setsuko)
