It's been several months since I posted in this thread...haven't really gotten too much since then...a few more 1/144 FFS kits and another 1/144 Teiren...
Also a MG Crossbone...which I'm currently working on whenever I want some relief from my ongoing Katoki-accurate 1/144 HGUC Ex-S build (almost there...).
The Crossbone is without a doubt the easiest build I've ever encountered...and, honestly, probably the most boring kit I've ever put together as there practically no seams or masking involved. Gunpla for idiots...my first and last modern MG kit for sure. Still, though, it's nice to be able to build something while not having to use my brain lol...pretty much the opposite of my Ex-S build.
Other than sharpening the antenna (which I've already done) and a custom paint job (red w/ off white accents maybe...if not X-2 baby) don't plan on any real mods for it.

Both are made of Izubuchi original design and win, so I'm fairly happy with picking up both at the same time (particularly considering how badly HGUC selection is dwarfed by even SEED, let alone the very quickly growing 00 stuff on a retail level). The only problem is that I went and got that metallic coating MG Nu a while back, so they won't match in scale...I could be convinced to still get an HGUC Nu as well though...
