That brings back memories...

I used to have this; it had the "moveable frame" tech that Bandai was trying out, right? Polystyrene shell over a pre-fab jointed skeleton? It was pretty cool for the time-- a lot more articulated than the other "HG" kits put out back then.

Yes, it had a pre-fab skeleton inside and did not contain any PC joints. It has some features that I wish HG 1/44's of today have like the translucent eyes. The kit has some good articulation but just like other kits from 1990's it suffers from bad molding of parts and loose pegs and joints.

http://mesarionplus.hannnari.com/galler ... /exiam.htm <---definitely not the most spectacular custom Exia kit iv seen (that distinction belongs to A2 Crafts')...but still its one that i had been following for almost a month now so here it is. It is a pretty neat one though and looking back on his other work ("Evolve" types) I bet he can outdo A2.

Also, DHM's Rollout Exia is just downright incredible: http://ruliweb2.empas.com/ruliboard/gup ... 2094_3.jpg. I really regret not picking up a DHM now.

Very nice; I like the "roll-out" color scheme. The exposed framework is cool as well; almost like looking at a 3-D partial cross-section of the Exia.

Destroy Vs. Destiny

You guys might have already seen this, but I thought the Destroy was a pretty impressive scratch build. Cool pics detailing the process too...

1/100 Tieren up on dalong,

I realized some of the parts have some rough textures and I first thought, "hey, that's neat!" Then I realize that sanding down the seams or sprue stubs would ruin them </sigh>, I wish they did away with it altogether
