Custom Painted V Gundam

Thought I'd make a thread for this as its not a recent build, mods please feel free to move it other wise.

Just finished painting this old kit of mine in a new fighter jet grey, though I left the feet and beam generators in bright red. Added some waterslide decals from an old HG Evangelion Kit and some old gunplas rub-on's and stickers...as well as some dodgy weathering. I like it even if my painting is still pretty poor.

Some of the paint has come off at the edges..I will give it a touch up lol.

For some of my other pieces pop on over to the recent builds section :D

Better poses (though I dont know how good that model is, poses may be limited) are always good for presentation for starters, but I like it. It's really got a sort of warn torn feel. Kinda makes me think that thats what some of the left over Victorys looked like 9-10 years after Victory.

My only suggestions (aside from a better poses for display purposes of course, thats not the model though) would be maybe a generally heavier coat (especially on the groin, legs and arms and to not leave the mouthpiece area on the head while. It looks strange to be. But otherwise I think it looks good. Kudos

I like the weathering. Panel lines are a little thick for its size. Were there detail-up hands made for the 1/144 V line cause they really need it.

The good panal marker i had gave out on me and I had to use an older one...so the lines came out a tad thick..please also not these kits are tiny. Unfortunatly no detailed hands were released just nasty little polycap ones.

The kits not that possable and the arm joints are very loose..I may glue them. The legs have less than 90 degrees of movement and the head can't move to the sides much.
