This one was good last year as they had a load of MG kits below $30 but they sold out of them quickly. The prices aren't so great anymore, but in the interest of keeping the database alive...

Srry to dig up an old thred, but I really wanted to share this. Ebay Express is a great resource for Gundam figures/models. Just today I got the fix versions of the ZZ Gundam and the G05/Mudrock for a combined $94 (shipping included). Here's a direct linkhttp://search.express.ebay.com/Toys-Hob ... 70QQ_fxdZ1

If those are the two you refered to, buying from HLJ would cost you about US$82, shipping included. I'm not sure about how much tax and customs would charge you as I'm not American.

$94 is not bad but could be better.

This one also sells a lot of Gundam stuff. But with no stock or prices listed, and with the few payment options available, I wonder if this shop's services are reliable. Has anyone shopped there before?

I guess it's all sold out now. It's not even listed anymore.

I certainly would not have minded getting a PG for thirty bucks.

So I too ordered some SEED stuff from Plajapan, around 2:44 PST. Got a "Shipped Already" notification literally within minutes. Fastest evar 8)

Still, I wouldn't normally buy their products, but lately they've been discounted to the point that some kits are a very good buy.

EDIT - order arrived in less than 48 hours. Holy moly, with the current discounts, this is the best value that I've had in a while, especially with time factored in, only thing that tops it is the massive amazon MG discount back then.

Hmm they have some bundles, free shipping for $75+ and free NG Seedlings.....

$75 seems like a big chunk... How much do they charge for shipping? I live in Toronto.

BTW, anyone know how can i send small parcels cheaply across Canada? Canada post is overpriced like no tomorrow. :(

I was looking for some rather obscure items, which I managed to find here:

http://hobbyworld.aoshima-bk.co.jp/eindex.asp

The seem to have good prices and almost everything is marked down... shipping, as always, is a pain, and I cannot vouch for their reliablity (sorry folks, I'm broke at the moment) but if you can't find what you're looking for at hlj or one of the others, you ought to check it out.

both tisinc99 and plajapan have pretty good selections with pretty good prices; you won't find many of the older MSiAs there, though.

Rainbowten.co.jp says that, if you ask them to, they will declare a lower product value on the customs form so that you can avoid the import tax.

Does anyone know a good place to get Gunze Sangyo products? Specificly Mr Surfacer?

I've found this site:
http://www.backyardarmor.com/Gunze_Sangyo.htm
But I'm not sure about ordering from them.. I've never used PayPal or whatnot...

I've never used it, but the page being down may just be a problem on their end or with their server or something else, as it's down for me too and since I've never used that site before, I can't say if problems like that are common or not. Check back later and if see if it's working then.

Gundam Mad is a UK based website
http://www.gundammad.co.uk/?gclid=CI_V1 ... lAod-WZ7Ow

It sells DVDs, Gundam Kits and Detailing accesories You can tell it's British from the Prices (AKA it's Pricey, between £11.99 and £20 for an 1/144 High grade Seed or UC  )

I haven't acutally ordered from there, but i entered a competition although i didn't win i still got an SD kit. The Point is (Yes there was a point!!) the kit came packaged with box all taped up and the kit in a sea of those polystrene-marshmellow things- unlike a certain Japanese website where i once got the box which had a hole in it (the kit-box could have been damaged-yes I'm looking at you HLJ  )

Gundam Mad as of this year has begun to also sell Patablor, Evangelion and Armoured Core Kits.

With HLJ, has anyone used their paypay option to wire them money? Although my creditcard is in full working order, and I have put my info/etc in correctly, they are having problems with my bank and other reasons. While I am getting that fixed, I plan on just paying a different method, instead of waiting.

Also do they charge a fee for using the paypal option?
