Ecopla

Just curious, has anyone experienced an "Ecopla" kit before?

Are these kits the same molds as their non-recycled plastic brothers?

Re: Ecopla

From what I've seen in a lot of pictures, they look to be exactly the same build, just with the recycled plastic.

Too bad they don't do ecopla for all modelsRX-78-2 and the HGUC Zaku II, once I get my airbrush gun on my birthday along with my paint set then color of plastic wouldn't matter.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I've seen the RX-78-2, Zaku II, RGM-79, Guncannon and Guntank, RX-178 Gundam Mk II, Gouf and a couple SD kits in the ecopla.

Interesting line they have....would be cool to see more come out

Re: Ecopla

Just got my first Ecopla kit from robots4less.com....a RX-77 Guncannon

Nice little kits for a decent price. It is the same mold, even the box art and instructions are the same. The only difference is the black plastic and the box is grey instead of in color and it says "Ecopla" on the side. I have noticed that the plastic seems to require a good scrub with soapy water.....it seems that the recycled plastic has quite a bit of mold release agent still on it and paint doesn't adhere too good. Other than that....two thumbs up!
