Master Grade Dom/Rick Dom - Still one of the best MGs?

It was one of the first MGs to utilise weapon pegs and double jointed fingers. Many say they won't really see a Ver.2.0 as it is already good enough, and furthermore it may not be wise of them to make a mass production unit as a potential 6000 yen Ver.2.0 model.

Seeing that modern Gunpla is reverting back to full PS plastic, I don't think the MG Dom will be appear to be aging any faster than before.

What are your thoughts on this model?

As a collector who only considers buying MGs that have 180 degree elbow bend and double jointed fingers, the Dom is one of the few older MGs that would meet the criteria. The Rick Dias and Qubeley does fall short of the first criterion.

I own this kit, and I have to say it's probably my favorite of all the ones I own (and that includes the perfect grade RX-78 and Zaku II). It's nice and sturdy, it poses well, and yes the hands are amazing for its age.
