Ok so this is my first post in in this forum so if I am posting this on a topic I shouldn't have sorry.
Anyway I was building my 1/100 MG RX-178 Gundam Mark 2 limited edition.
Built the torso, weapons, arms and a leg things were going well until the second leg.
I was putting it together and me trying to fix the foot on the underside which wouldn't snap together the red plastic on the underside of the foot broke when pressure was applied.
So now I am cursing myself over that and wanted to ask is there a site where you can buy replacement parts in English?
If you guys know of one it would help a lot
Didn't have this problem on my first leg
And no this isn't my first model build, however it is my first Master Grade(so many parts to put together)
Any help would be appreciated guys.
Here is the item from HLJ just for reference.
(I didn't buy the kit from HLJ though)

I usually don't shop online, but if it's a limited edition part you're looking for, then sorry, you just might be SoL.
If you go searching for the part online, chances are that the best you are going to get is from the regular release. But the bottom of a foot is probably not a part you'll be looking at too often, so that's probably not a big deal.
I'd say your best bet is probably Ebay. If you can't find the part individually, then maybe you can just get another MG. While that option is no doubt more expensive than ordering a single part, there is a chance that you could get lucky and find one for less than retail price.
Or you could try the least expensive option, and try to repair the part with glue or plastic cement. It might not mean good things for the glossy finish, but again, the bottom of a foot is probably not a part you'll be looking at too often. I suggest that you at least try this option first before doing an online search.

Well part of the issue is, I can't do it up with glue because I think the culprit was a part that didn't snap tight shut together properly.
And anyway it's just the red heel section of the foot, nothing special like the chrome pistons or anything.
I did take out like 2-3 parts that were fine actually.

Got a picture? Would be easier to help you fix it and provide you options towards fixing it if those are still on the table.

Considering it broke in 2-3 pieces and made those parts kind of hard to put back together again let alone get the other coloured parts out ok, nope.Compass wrote:Got a picture? Would be easier to help you fix it and provide you options towards fixing it if those are still on the table.
And as for pics, well it wouldn't be much to show over all for the remmains

It'll take a while to get to you though so you gotta be patient.

Well they did get back to me and it's actually not that costly to get the parts I need from them.Raiden wrote:http://gginfinite.com/Replacement_Parts_Service.html

You can go to Hobby Link Japan (hlj.com)and buy the parts tree your part is on for a very reasonable price. The info is on the home page of the website. Simply tell them the model name, number and the number of the parts tree. No mystery, no nail biting. It may take a few weeks to arrive, but it's simple and it's a sure thing.
