ID-Challenge Takara toy, might be Votoms?

Please forgive me if this is under the wrong topic. I'm a newbie here, so be gentle

I have a Takara toy that I THINK is from Votoms, but I could be wrong on that too. It stands about 6 inches, is plastic with (I think) die-cast metal. At least, it sure is heavy for its size. It has TAKARA stamped on its foot in English with the Sunrise (c) in Japanese kanji and kana. Articulated at ankles, knees, hips, waist, shoulders, elbows, wrists. With gun in hand.

Judging by the size/placement of the Cockpit I don't think it's Votoms.

It appears to be a Roundfacer from Dougram. I even see a peg where the missing missile launcher would go.

That would be it, thank you! The owner did say she thought it might be from Votoms or Dougram, but it does look similar to the Votoms mechs, so I stopped there when my eyes began to cross from the research. And yes, the peg is there.
