Cordinators and naturals

I've been guessing that it would rear it's head again in the movie or something. It would be rather creepy if, instead of finding a cure for the genetic infertility, some researcher found a way to make coordinators and naturals incompatible. Spreading the retrovirus among either the Earth or the Plants could be the doomsday threat of the Blue Cosmos.
