The effect of P2P filesharing on the anime industry.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find information on how the advent of broadband internet and filesharing programs have effected the anime industry? Are there any statistics or facts that show a decline in revenue for certain companies after a certain point?

I'm writing a research paper on the impact (or lack thereof?) of P2P filesharing on various industries, anime being one of them. Any help would be much appreciated.
