Thing is, my PC is old and I can barely stream videos or download them on it until I get a new one.
The only window to anime I've been able to get lately is Netflix and a Youtube app I use on my PS3.
I already follow GundamInfo's Channel for occasional gems, but do you guys have any other recommendations that I could check out?

On Netflix, Knights of Sidonia is pretty good, from what I've seen thus far (through ep 8 ).
I think PS3 has a Hulu app as well? If you can get that to work, they have Serial Experiments Lain, Boogiepop Phantom and Now and Then, Here and There. Not mecha shows, but all extremely good. Didn't require a subscription for me to watch them.
