*Slow clap* I am actually pleased with this news. While I've never been a diehard C.E./SEED fan, I felt a concluding movie (as planned) was needed after Destiny, and felt awkward about Gundam 00 getting a movie before SEED did. I hope it's not some meaningless side-story, and actually has significance connected to how Destiny ended. There are all sorts of ways this could be boring, but I hope they'll take an inspired approach, like maybe the tone of Stargazer.

As for Wing...I would like Episode Zero realized as a Unicorn-style OVA series, but that's about it. That's the biggest thing lacking in the Wing universe, IMO.

Yeah, the statements (or paraphrases of statements) in the tweets just seem like an elaborate "no comment" to me. Basically, people asked the company about a Seed movie, and they avoided saying anything at all.

I'm more than game for space aliens in SEED. Remember, they did it first, not 00, so CE has every right to try it if it wishes to.

We could even get a Minmey ending where Lacus sings the angry space whales to peaceful negotiations a la Macross. Seriously. Might as well let her stop another war single-handedly.

And let's not forget the major plot twist of the story: Athrun gets mind controlled and joins the enemy military, thus giving him a chance to switch back to the light side before the end, while providing a mecha antagonist for the Superfriends. Gotta collect all them uniforms, after all.

Hey, if a SEED movie is half as good as Cross Ange was, then it'd definitely be worth watching.
