Is anyone familiar with this? There are vanilla GMs and Garma Dopp in 90s OVA styled animation, but different from the ones used in Playstation Perfect One Year War.

The page you linked states that it's basically a short promotional OVA released about one month before the first episode premiered, and was later included as a part of the bonus content on the home video releases on VHS and DVD.

I did remember seeing the part with Shiro vs Aina using the vanilla ball and Zaku.

It is funny how they replaced all the space Zakus with the forest colored 1995 Okawara version.

The Dopps also seemed refine to the 08th version. Ignoring the Stardust Memory Gato prologue, I think the 08th MS Team marked the first animated work in the 80/90s to revisit One Year War without using a full cast of new original mecha. Hence, Zakus, Dopps and Magella Attack could return in a new visual interpretation. That is why the pilot film made references to the White Base.
