So someone is getting to interview Shinichiro Watanabe on Sunday.
As such, anyone have any questions they'd like to offer? I can't promise they'll be used but I'm getting a 20 minute one to one with the genius himself, so I'd like to open it up slightly to fellow fans as I did when I interviewed Wit Studio last year.

Re: Interviewing Shinichiro Watanabe- Any questions?
I've always been curious:
*What influence, if any, did Sunrise's "Outlaw Star" have on Cowboy Bebop and Space Dandy?
*What influence, if any, did Buichi Terasawa's "Space Adventure Cobra" have on Cowboy Bebop and Space Dandy?

My question:
How was the experience of getting to work with a lot of other guest creators and notable directors (people like Goro Taniguchi, Fumihiko Takayama, Katsuhiro Otomo, etc) on Space Dandy? Did they have a lot of freedom for their episodes and other forms of contributions?

My question is, what does he look for when he's making a decision about whether to pick up a project or go with an idea. Alternatively, what kinds of inspirations does he look towards when he's trying to come up with or develop a project.

Here's my question:
Why aren't you into investing on backstories?

Cowboy Bebop was Jazz and sci-fi.
Samurai Champloo was Hip-hop and samurai action.
Which music genre and anime genre would you like to mix next?

Seconded. Always wanted to hear what his experience was, especially the most meaningful part of it for him.Arbiter GUNDAM wrote:What was the best thing that he took away from making Macross Plus?

Is he's a fan of Gundam in any capacity, and if so, which series is his favorite and why?

Short, but very good. Glad the Macross question got in there. His answer gave a lot of insight that's unsaid. Thanks for posting!
