Re: The Official Gundam-san Anime Thread

There was one Ideon cameo in the manga, I hope it gets shoehorned into the anime proper.

I love Garma on Space Island, so I hope it can be animated.

But I also recognize it probably is too long to fit into a 2 minute short. It'd need at least a 30 minute OVA.

It also is pretty sad when you get near the end.

It is nice to have a comic that tries to put a sympathetic spin on Zeon without basically fudging facts to excuse them.

It really will be a shame if this show is just about animating the quick, goofy and gross out parts of Gundam-san.

Re: The Official Gundam-san Anime Thread

The ongoing storylines were presented as brief episodes in the manga, so that be no problem for this anime. Seeing as how poor!Zabi family are shown prominently in the promotional material and the ending, I'm sure we'll get that story in some form.

In the meantime, Newtype powers sure are [in]convenient when going through puberty.

Re: The Official Gundam-san Anime Thread

I guess it's still too early to say, but from the looks of things, each episode's going to focus on a different character. I hope the next one's on the Red Comet Chick. Seeing him sadistically torment dumb Char in the manga evokes memories of watching old Tom & Jerry cartoons as a kid.

6th one's out.

Dr. Sayla (since she was a medical student in the original) gives consultation for a certain ship Captain who admits feeling excitement when he slaps people. Then Sayla imagines slapping Kai multiple times, and ends up having an orgasm.

Re: The Official Gundam-san Anime Thread

I won't lie. When Gundam-san portrayed what was really going on in Amuro's head when he floating to Sayla in the end of MSG, I laughed my ass off.

The White Base defeated that team of Rick Doms because Conscon had an itty, bitty moustache.

Re: The Official Gundam-san Anime Thread

i'm liking this short anime. especially Gundam and Guncannon's accent(can't tell if it's kansai or tohoku.)

and it is me or is the pose of the RX-78 at the ending song a reference to similar pose made by Raoh of Hokuto no ken?
