SEED DESTINY ASTRAY R will be another photonovel story. It'll center around Lowe and the other Junkers daily life. SEED DESTINY ASTRAY B will be a novel that talks about the untold stories of the Serpent Tail. Members based around Gai meet a certain mercenary duo while carrying out a variety of missions.
I think the "邪道達、帰還" is supposed to be "a return to the evil ways". Jadoh's return, whatever. Beats the hell out of me. I haven't seen じゃどう in a long while.

Also I'm curious on vol 6 for the Astray REMASTER since it's supposed to be an entirely new volume, since Astray is 01-03 and X Astray is 04-05. Misadventures of the previous Green Frame pilot?

Once a year, Junkers from around the world gather to hold a meeting. Here, The Guild officially decides on what mass produced products to sell. Lowe too brought his personally designed Caletvwlch to display (boast) in front of the Junkers. Just then, an N Dagger N appears at their meeting place, causing pandemonium. In order to save his friends, Lowe jumps into action with the Red Frame equipped with the Caletvwlch!

Battle 01: The Man Who Knows the Past
Gai visits Orb in order to service the Blue Frame Second L. Two mercenaries suddenly appear before him: Dante and Elsa. Dante cooperated with the development of the Alliance's combat coordinators and is very familiar with Gai's past. Dante, who has longed to meet again, draws his sword and charges Gai. Gai is gradually backed into a corner. Can he survive?!

Under the leadership of Liam Garfield, the Junk Guild starts to produce its own brand of products. One of the most notable product is the Raysta, a work-use MS that became a best seller due to its cheap price and relatively high performance. After this success, the guild cooperated with DSSD to develop the Civilian Astray. The guild’s business is constantly expanding and growing, and to maintain it, sustainable development of new product is required and it is for this reason that Liam decides to hold a yearly meeting to gather suggestions on new products.
The meeting is held at a desert, and various tents and prefabricated houses have been set up. Besides the yearly meeting, there is also another meeting involving the guild’s office-holders and a flea market at the venue. In fact, there are far more visitors who are there because of the flea market than the junkers who are there for the meeting. Almost every junker present are fired up and are keen to boast to each other about their best creation. Among them, the most eye-catching one is the equipment held by Lowe’s Red Frame. Every time Lowe waves it, it is accompanied by loud exclamation from the crowd. Lowe calls it ‘Caletvwlch’, and explains that it is a multifunctional cutting and welding tool that can be used for different purposes through changing its parts. A participant states that it is forbidden for civilian MS to be armed with a weapon, and Lowe replies that Caletvwlch has a limiter to prevent it from being used as a weapon. He adds that the limiter can be disabled but the user will have to bear the consequences then. When another asks why Lowe gives the tool such a name, he simply says that it is the name of a legendary sword and is cool. It is quite clear what Caletvwlch’s main purpose is, but no one mind as a Junk Guild team is recently attacked by ZAFT and this incident heightens the awareness for self-defence equipment among the junkers.
Nearby, Kisato complains that Lowe is getting too carried away. Her feelings is understandable because she brought along her BuCUE that was previously used by Andrew Waltfeld, and purposely equipped it with its original missile launcher instead of the work arms that she usually used. However thanks to Lowe, no one is paying any attention to her rare machine. A group of Junkers piloting Works GINNs then move towards Lowe’s Red Frame to have a close look at the Caletvwlch. These junkers correctly analysed that Caletvwlch is powered by its own internal battery, is lighter than it looks and that the empty slots indicate that the user can come up with new parts themselves. At this point, other junkers around also start to discuss what new parts they will produce themselves.
As the sun sets, a Works GINN’s pilot discovers that his MS’s experimentally equipped nuclear reactor is active. This GINN is meant for use in space regions where there are no N-Jammer interference and is capable of transmitting the extra energy to other MS. The activation indicates that a MS equipped with N-Jammer Canceller is nearby, and at nearly the same time, Lowe is informed by 8 that Red Frame’s mirage colloid detector has picked up a signal. Lowe put the 2 things together and deduces that an N Dagger N is nearby. He quickly increases the output of the sound sensor to try to locate the invisible MS using the sound from its footsteps, but this method fails as there are too many MS around. 8 then advises him to think about the intruder’s aim, which is a pretty good advice as N Dagger N is a top secret MS and will not appear anywhere without a reason. Lowe feels that the intruder is after his Caletvwlch and ignores 8’s rebuttal that it is not possible. He explains that he is not mistaken because if Caletvwlch becomes widely used, the military will not be able to bully the weak anymore. 8 knows that there is no stopping Lowe so it did not rebut him. Lowe then decides to be bait and launches Red Frame up into the air. He subsequently activates the Caletvwlch and the blades begin to glow as it disperse the mirage colloid particles. Red Frame then becomes stationary in the air, a difficult feat that arouses the crowd and Lowe claims that this is one of the Caletvwlch’s seven abilities, the ability to control the air (could not think of a better way to translate). Using the scattered mirage colloid particles, it is possible to control the air around Red Frame and they can even be used to create an air current, propelling the MS forward. 8 points out that Caletvwlch does not have seven abilities, and Lowe replies that this is his target and he will add the rest later.
8 informs Lowe that a humanoid object is vaguely visible in front of them and he immediately disables the Caletvwlch’s limiter using a simple voice command, ‘disable limiter’. Lowe rushes towards the intruder and slashes at it. Normally, wielding a large object in mid-air can make a MS easily lose its balance but thanks to the mirage colloid particles’ air control ability this did not happen to Red Frame. Caletvwlch makes contact with the intruder, disabling its stealth system and cutting off its left arm. 8 comments that the scattered mirage colloid particles must have interfered with the N Dagger N’s stealth system, making the MS vaguely visible. An unexpected benefit, Lowe is indeed the luckiest person in the universe. Lowe then remarks that it is as expected while 8 feels that the victor can say anything after the victory, and thus has no intention of exposing Lowe’s bluff.
To avoid a battle, the damaged N Dagger N retreats. Lowe’s use of the Caletvwlch deeply impresses the crowd and Liam announces on the spot that it will become an official Junk Guild product. It is also decided that the advertisement for Caletvwlch will be using footage from the battle. Meanwhile, the person who is responsible for sending N Dagger N to the event is troubled by the incident. His name is Valerio Valeria, aka Double V (or V.V), and he is upset that his plan is foiled by a mere junker. To avenge this failure, he decides to make a new move…
For Destiny B, the only new information i could get is that Elsa is a new combat coordinator created by Dante . She is not bothered that she is created just for fighting and does not hesitate to fight.

Interesting new V-fin. Though I wish just once we could get a hobby mag add on that didn't go the route of "And now the story has the use of several". It got pretty daft when they did the GN Sefer and showed off Gundam forms that would need you to buy like 5 copies.
Well, the GN sefer has somewhat an in story reason for that. Anyway, about the picture, that's an ability of the new DDRAIG head unit that Lowe created to complement the Caletvwlch. The v-fin is able to generate a beam v-fin behind it, which is the large thing in the picture. The new head unit also has some other hidden abilities.
The last paragraph of my Destiny R chapter one translation have been edited as I discovered that I have interpreted something wrongly. The second chapter should be ready by next week or so.
Anyway, some more info about Elsa, she has a habit of piloting while naked. There is a reason for this though, she is a combat coordinator with enhanced sensory organ and the closer she gets to full nudity, the better is her ability to process data from her MS. Although Dante is the one who made her, even he did not expect her to develop such a weird habit and seems to have advise her numerous times to suit up. Elsa considers her behaviour as a result of Dante’s inadequate planning.
A few days after his return from Mars to the Earth sphere, Lowe Guele decides to visit one of DSSD’s space stations and proudly declares that he can offer them some suggestions based on his martian experience. Junk Guild’s chairperson, Liam Garfield, approves as he sees no reason to stop him, he even helps to make the necessary arrangements and reminds him not to give the other party any trouble. Lowe thanks Liam for his help and jubilantly says that he can take the opportunity to market the Caletvwlch as a standard equipment to them. So far, sales of the Caletvwlch has been quite good due to its flashy debut. However, Liam calmly responded that DSSD has rejected it and explains that its weapon-like appearance may cause them trouble. Lowe is aware that even though Caletvwlch is not labelled as a weapon, it is still one and thus gives up on the idea. He then asks if he can bring along a MS and have them take a look at it and its weapon system, and Liam gives him the go ahead.
Lowe arrives at the space station and asks the DSSD’s technicians to check out his modified Civilian Astray DSSD Custom, a suit that is somewhat an experimental modification unit in preparation for another MS that he is working on for a martian girl. Lowe gets into the suit’s cockpit and starts to control it as well as explain its functions, like a salesman marketing his goods to some housewives. He firstly shows them the custom beam shield, which is a typical shield used by both Orb and EA (the one used by Duel, Strike and M1 Astray) but with a ‘+’ shaped beam emitter replacing the vertical protrusion at the bottom. Although this shield has high defensive capabilities, it also has high energy consumption and to solve this problem, Lowe modifies the electromagnetic propulsion system to also function as an energy receiver. The DSSD space station is capable of transferring energy and thus if the beam shield is used to defend the station, it has theoretically an infinite operation time. Lowe adds that as he heard that DSSD cannot use any offensive weapon, he has incorporated into the beam shield the ability to fire a substitute. He also says that this mechanism is free if they buy the beam shield from him now. This offer of his successfully piqued the interests of the technicians. He then tells them that the suit’s head unit has an added high precision sensor unit and has a cool look to boot (somewhat like the Arms Astray’s head but with the antenna at the sides bended down, forming a wide ‘V’). To Lowe, both performance and look are equally important. At this moment, the station’s alarm goes off and Civilian Astray DSSD Custom starts to move out one by one.
Several MS with unknown affiliation is closing in; despite DSSD’s neutral status, there are still those who wish to destroy the organization. Lowe feels that this a good chance to show off the suit’s performance and launched with the other MS to defend the station. Normally, civilians not affiliated to the organization would withdraw to safe areas, but because of his experience with several crisis, Lowe has developed an immunity to dangerous situations. A few minutes later, the incoming MSes are visually identified as GINN High Maneuver Type II and Lowe guesses that they are deserters of ZAFT. One of these suits charge towards Lowe at a high speed with a halberd, but he remains unfazed and confidently blocks it with his beam shield.
In the station, Kisato is unhappy that Lowe is involved in the fighting. Although she tags along to stop him from doing stupid things, she is aware that it is impossible and ends up feeling helpless. Besides her, a man remarks softly that the defence team is being suppressed. Kisato unintentionally hears this and pessimistically wonders if they are going to lose and wishes for Lowe not to die. As her unease grows, tears start to flow down uncontrollably. The man beside just stares coldly at her, complaining that her crying is bothersome and adding that this is why he hates Natural. This man is Valerio Valeria, aka V.V, and is the one who sent the N Dagger N to attack the Junk Guild’s meeting. Although he did not arrange the attack this time, he is fine with it and is glad that he can personally witness the demise of the filthy junker. V.V is a technician working for Actaeon Industries and is currently at the space station for technical research.
Lowe’s modified MS proved to be stronger than V.V expected and he gets angrier as the fight progresses. He notes that the suit’s combat capabilities are not bad and its performance quite good for a Natural. From a technician’s view point, V.V thinks that the suit is worth imitating, but he would make a cooler-looking head. In fact, he has already decided to check it out after the battle and to develop an enhanced Civilian Astray for combat use, which he will sell through the black market. Of course, he will modify the head unit as well. Kisato then points out that new MSes has entered the battle and identifies one of them as Blue Frame 2nd L. At the same moment, her voice changes from sadness to joy, while V.V focuses his attention on the MS used by the famous mercenary, Gai Murakumo. With overwhelming strength, Blue Frame 2nd L and Elijah’s ZAKU lay waste to the enemy. V.V has heard of Blue Frame 2nd L before and knows a bit about its history, but this is his first time seeing it in action and he comments that it lives up to its name. He then hails Gai for the impressive modifications he made to the suit and mistakenly includes the Tactical Arms as one of them, but Kisato immediately retorts that the Tactical Arms is originally made by Lowe for Red Frame and thus the credit should goes to Lowe not Gai. V.V is greatly taken aback by this revelation and to retain his pride as a Coordinator, he just calls the creation of the excellent Tactical Arms by a Natural as just a fluke. Kisato laughingly remarks that he is not very frank about it, while V.V tries very hard to suppress the urge to flee from the scene. Kisato then notices that Lowe has changed over to the Red Frame and is using the Caletvwlch.
Lowe describes Gai’s arrival as a big help and uses the opportunity to switch over to Red Frame, as his modified Civilian Astray DSSD Custom cannot link up with the space station’s energy transfer system causing the beam shield to run low on energy. Releasing the Caletvwlch’s limiter, Lowe starts to shoot at the enemy and is advised by 8 to adjust his line of fire and to take better aim before shooting. 8 also displays the shooting data on screen and although the assessment is unflattering, most of the beams fired still hit their targets and proves that the Caletvwlch can also perform well as a beam rifle. Lowe questions why Gai is here and the latter replies that he is just chasing the ZAFT deserters and saving him is just a coincidence. Lowe then attributes it to his good luck and starts to promote the Caletvwlch. He quickly changes Caletvwlch from gun form to sword form and calls this one of its seven capabilities, ‘High-speed Transformation’. This is just nothing more than a quick change of parts and 8 cannot be bothered to criticize Lowe about it anymore. After slicing an enemy unit apart easily, Lowe tells Gai about Junk Guild’s plan to mass produce Caletvwlch as well as its price. Although Gai remain silent as Lowe babbles about, his companion, Elijah had enough and interrupts by saying that the matter can wait till the battle is over. Lowe admits that Elijah is right and apologies. Elijah then wonders when Junk Guild become an arms seller and Lowe immediately realizes his mistake. He replies that the Caletvwlch is not a weapon, but even he knows that his answer is not convincing enough. Elijah remarks that Lowe has screwed up and the latter uncharacteristically starts to do some self-reflection as he uses the non-weapon, multifunctional equipment to defeat the enemy.
I'm intrigued where they're going with this. I like the fact the 'Lowe tries to sell it' plot is partially poking fun at these chapters are also doing so in the real world but the idea of Lowe seriously making a mistake because he's swept up in a new invention...Lowe has never exactly been Mary Sue bad writing (that all trickled down to Fon) but normally he's level headed and sensible.
I'm guessing this story takes place after Delta Astray after Deago Lowell returns the Red Frame he "borrowed" and Lowe removed the Mars Jacket and transferred it over to a Civilian Astray for Deago's continued use. It's also interesting to find out the ZAFT deserters who piloted GINN High Maneuver Type II's had more numbers than the three who caused the "Break the World" incident, more also appeared and attacked Genesis Alpha in attempt to gain control over it in Destiny Astray.
