I'm hoping there's lineart for the Gouf Galatica and Violence Geist in the Catalog 2015
Uses a Buddy System to allow the R to work alongside the DI (Destiny Impulse) Adiga "monoeye" versions in team-based combat.
The DI Adiga units can use an advanced combat AI in place of a pilot if the circumstances require it.
The Destiny Impulse R series were the continuation of the aborted Destiny Impulse project, created as a stopgap "near Ace" unit for pilots who weren't quite considered Ace enough to pilot a Destiny Gundam proper.
The Core Splendor system was omitted from the Impulse R's, with the cockpit being moved to the Destiny R Pack (think Regenerate's backpack). Like the Regenerate's pack, the Destiny R pack can dock with Striker or Silhouette hardpoints and hijack the unit from its pilot.
The Impulse R series all featured a Buddy System, which allows two pilots of reasonably high skill (not yet Aces) to work together in unison and achieve a skill level equivalent to an actual Ace pilot.
All Destiny Impulse R variants except for 1 was converted over to the Adiga variant for expanded testing of the AI system, which was designed to allow for immediate combat readiness of the equipped mobile suits if there was a shortage of pilots, and were sortied alongside the sole remaining Impulse R in an attempt to destroy the Actaeon Industries facility where Valerio was chilling at.

Blau Calamity is so heavy it can hardly move without the aid of hover units. However, it is at least mobile enough in melee combat to hold its ground and just spam away.

Rot Forbidden is derived from the Forbidden Vortex variant. Upgraded to be a specialist close-combat unit to directly support the Blau Calamity. It retains the beam bending capabilities of the former two, but trades some of its old mobility for more firepower and reserve colloid particles for the G.Panzer system.

Gelb Raider has been upgraded to be more of a hit-and-run specialist, having more firepower and thrust than the original Raider units.

All 3 use an AI based on reverse-engineered copies of 8 (Lowe's AI Panasonic toughbook tablet) called AI 80, and are meant to work closely together as a team. Developed by a Coordinator who secretly played Actaeon Industries.

Turn Red is used by the flamboyant Coordinator Valerio Valeri as his personal unit. It predominantly uses spare Strike E (Strike Noir) parts in its construction and armored to look like his "rival's" unit, but in a reverse color (hence the name, Turn Red). It also uses an AI 80 system to do most of the fighting, while Valerio just sits back and relaxes.

It's linked to two Hyperion G units (GR and GL) also using AI 80 units that he also commandeered for his use. They look functionally identical to the Eurasian mass-produced unit, but the GR has a different color scheme and GL mirrors the weapons loadout (what was on the right is now on the left, and vice versa), and serve as his personal bodyguard units.

Re: Gundam Seed Astray Destiny R/B

I wouldn't say the Destiny Impulse R series was a stopgap measure. It was more like an alternate development route meant to compensate for the fact that there aren't many pilots capable of piloting Destiny. Think of it as making better use of the available pilot resources if you will.

About the DI Adaga's AI, it was developed to replace one of the skilled pilots in the pairing with the AI and that was already possible before the testing of the AI was completed. The attack on V.V's place was merely to collect more combat data to perfect the AI system's performance. The other pilot in the pair is not replaced with the AI as human judgement is deemed necessary in many cases.

Blau Calamity's leg hover units are replaced with thrusters for space combat. I may be wrong here, but i don't think any information released thus far says Rot Forbidden sacrifice any mobility… Rot Forbidden's enhanced close combat capability is for the whole team actually, not just Blau Calamity. I think it was Gelb Raider that was meant to support Blau Calamity, the former's mobility to make up for the latter's lack of mobility.

The Ai 80 was actually the product of 8 and V.V's work.

The spare parts predominantly used in Turn Red was not Strike E's but from a replica Astray produced as part of the Actaeon Project. A hint at Astray Noir i think.

New information from the scans include:
1) Gelb Raider is based on the Raider Full Spec, and modified based on research into Raider Gundam's weaponry data. How V.V. got his hand on Raider Full Spec is unknown. During the suit's modification process, spare IWSP parts (again how V.V got them is unknown) were used. The spare IWSP parts were dismantled and redesigned before added onto the suit.

2) Rot Forbidden was originally designed to have 2x G.Panzer deflection system, but later dropped and replaced with the emitter system. This backstory mirrors what happened in real life when the modeller was creating Rot Forbidden. The main difference is IRL, the idea was dropped due to balance issues, while in story it was dropped due to an assortment of issues.

3) Maybe wrong here, but i think the new scans stated that Blau Calamity ate up more than half of the project's budget so the other two MS are based on production type units. However, total cost for the 3 MS still exceeds the budget by 2.6x.

Edit:Forgot to add that Blau Calamity is installed with a new power extender. Unknown if the other two have this power extender
