I recently got around to watching Valkyria Chronicles and I could not be more pleased. It really captured almost the whole time that team element that 08th Ms team lost at the middle. I really enjoyed how the show tackled racism and showed how ridiculous it is. The interaction between characters was great. A couple of generic anime cliches but overall very entertaining. And after the part where: Isara died, which i majorly cried at It really began to pick up. Very good series and highly recommended by me. Have not seen this one yet, but I have seen a playthrough of the game it's based on and I've heard about some of the differences between the two.

I enjoyed the anime, though I've been told that's because I haven't played the games.

i have finished the game when i watch it. and i do developed a special hatred for enemy snipers in the game after that spoilerific event. the anime was okay. since it mostly a complete port of what happen in the game. mostly being the keyword here. the love triangle was not in the game. i dont hate it. i just treat it as some sort alternate version of the story. lastly, Selvaria is the true star of the show, i watch the anime simply so i can see more of Selvaria.

The game was better I feel, the end of the anime seemed a little more rushed and cliched somehow, but the anime had its own good points too. I very much enjoyed both of them and am thoroughly disappointed that VC3 doesn't appear to be on its way to the states. Probably end up having to import, blah. Isara T______T
Love triangle? With Faldio? Umm...well I really found Faldio likable, but knew it wasn't going anywhere 'cause of the game, so I guess I never considered it as such. I can't really see it being too genuine though, I feel like Faldio was more a pretty face for her to fall for. I mean he was smart and all too, but...I dunno, he seemed more like the ephemeral too-good-to-be-true option, as compared to Welkin (who is also awesome). Oh man, Selvaria. Best character in the entire franchise. <3

In the end of the series do we have a confirmed that Fladio got killed or somehow survived? Also I though for sure that in the end Weilkien was going to turn into a valkyria and pwn maximillian. In the game do they go in more depth with the ending of weilkien and alichia if they get married and raise a family? After looking on the psn I noticed that edy has her own dlc and so does Selvaria. So I am guessing that they get more into edys character in the game because she was a very minor character in the anime. Wasn't Isara such a great character? She was probably my favorite character.

Yeah of the main 5 good guys, she was unexpectedly my favorite. Generally I'm not a big fan of her type of character, the soft spoken, not particularly strong seeming girl, but she had a lot of inner strength, ingenuity, and really endeared me to her despite all my initial expectations.

Gosh she was such a hard worker and so forgiving. Why do animes have to always kill off the people that have had the worst life? On a side note to make us feel better about isara just think about. You know one character I couldn't stand? Georg Damon. He was like that fat blond guy in 00 Season 2 but worse. The moment he stomped on Isara's memorial, that just put him in my top 10 most hated anime characters.

I can't believe he rose through the ranks and became a high ranking officer. It would be some very good bread indeed. According to the game, she can also make cinnamon rolls too, so I definitely want to try some of them.
I could also learn to live with the spoilered part as well.
But the real question is would anyone want to have a winged porcavian for a pet?
