Yeah, you're right. Would be nice of them to give us something deeper, rather than go with the stereotype. I think though, that because of the generation thing, they're intentionally trying to make Flit's generation more old-fashioned, so we get that contrast as we move through the timeline. Wishful thinking maybe, but would be nice.SonicSP wrote:I'm from Asia myself, so I know its can be normal sometimes. Its not exactly wrong or anything about it in general, there will always be situations where one of the partners will just eat up something for the good of the relationship but I feel like there's a missed opportunity here....
Of course, the first gen is not really over yet so there might still have that conversation even if Emily is already starting to see things Flit's way.

It's more like Madorna and his wife's kid. Dad's hair and mom's skin and eyes.

Seriously. I dunno if it's because Adult Flit is rocking the trench coat and Burt Reynolds 'stache, the BADASS Gundam, or the fact that his kid looks like five times cooler than him, but I'm finding myself far more psyched for this next part than I was for AGE to begin in the first place.

What the F...lit... He's grown to be a badass after all, I thought he's going to be a cheery dad or something. Maybe I'm just looking into it too much but his eyes looks like somebody who is bitter, a far cry from the young Flit.Dark Duel wrote:Because 'staches are AWESOME*. I'm expecting the impending Gurren Lagan moment is coming somewhere mid series and it involves dear old dad <- but don't know whose dad.

So should we baptize 2nd Gen Flit as "DAT 'STACHE"?
Well, I guess I'm a nobody...

^Mustachioed Flit? This reminds me of Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid 4.
I am a Gundam!

Its just one cool pose, it might not mean anything. Although Flit being a serious adult character is something I look forward too.Midi_Amp wrote:What the F...lit... Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread Mk II
Just watched the Raw Episode and I must say I am impressed with this episode. The series first major space battle (Hmmm maybe not major...but still the largest yet). Also the first time the UE managed to get totally defeated.
We also get the next three...
Anyways again a great episode can't wait till the subtitle version comes out. Though kind of upset no Euba or Zulam warships yet. /shrug/
We also get the next three...
Spoiler
Character deaths of the series in this episode. Don Voyage and his henchman. Bon Voyage guys your sacrifice is not in vain

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread Mk II
Spoiler
Being the speed junkie that I am, now that the Spallow has debuted is there any reason for Flit to use the AGE's other forms? It's fast so you can dodge any attacks and it has a blade that can cut anything so a Bakuto's armor should be no problem.
Plenty of cockpit death shots this episode, so further reasons for the kiddy nay sayers to shut up.
Also Woofle is gonna hook up with the bridge bunny chick. Guess girls do love jerks after all.
Next ep Yurin finally returns.

Re: The Official Gundam AGE Anime Thread Mk II
I think this series is gonna be dark like the UC series.
Spallow's introduction was also better than Titus's, although sadly it might be offed in the next episode once Flit encounters not-Tiffa again.
Spoiler
Okay, how the hell did Desil control his Zedas in the last episode? If he wasn't in the cockpit, how could he make it retreat? Does it have an AI system or is he telepathic or what?

Thing is was that the real Zedas, did they have something in the cockpit, or a really good replica drone?

Also, for Flit to say that the UE are not humans due to their actions, I kinda laughed.
Mainly because the UE would look tame compared to the Titans, or Zalaites or CE wack-jobs. If he was in CE he may have a nervous breakdown due to "humans shouldn't be doing this to another!"
