So which Mobile Suits from the above list are considered new additions to the anime version?
Just realised that the official website got updated reflecting the MS list. The new color tones for the old models are pretty good, but the Marasai and Z'Gok seem to be olive colors. the Z'Gok's lineart is the same as Katoki's MG concept art.

ZZ MS get more love, with some of the older MS tossed in as well. Very nice indeed. B)
The older Zeon MS really aren't that obsolete, except compared to the Unicorn & Jesta unit. The Z'gok has beam weapons and piston-backed claws. The Zaku Cannon & Zaku Sniper have beam guns. The Desert Dowadge and Desert Zaku well-armed, albeit with conventional weapons. Given that most of the Earthside EFF lineup is tramping around in GM II & GM III types, having the Banagher and friends intervene to save Dakar from the Shamblo & escorts is justifiable.

It's hard to tell how the story will go in this episode. The MS line up suggests a merger of Torrington and Darkar. If that's the case it will have to mean that Banshee will show up for sure, yet it doesnt even have a pilot right now. The other possiblity is that there won't be Torrington at all and all the combat is done at Darkar, which would make the battle a lot bigger than just Shambloo in the novel. I guess they are in a hurry to push out all the old models for possible HGUC.

As they have onlly disclose less than half of the Zeon Remnant MS line up in episode 4, we may expect a random Zeon Fest, similar to Gunpla Builders Episode 3. Hopefully we may get some MSV cameos, or maybe even from MSV-R.
At this rate, it is highly probable that they'll add in some Gelgoogs and Zaku F2s for the Zeon Republic during the the space arc along with Hizacks.
This reminds me of those Kamen Rider movies where they have a huge kaijin army full of previously defeated guys.

I think the official site has made mention of the Torrington base, which to me would suggest that it's being included.

Gosh episode 4 comes out at the worst time. I basically have to decide between episode 4 and Uncharted 3. If you're getting Uncharted, then I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume you have a PS3. You could always rent the episode from the PSN to tide you over until you can afford the Bluray.

And the presence of the folded up claws on the side of the forearms also says as much. The rest of the text says "Nakajero Production", probably the outfit that did that scene/slide.
