Mecha Talk

Having been rewatching Zeta recently, I noticed what seems like Zeon warships being used by the Titans - specifically the Musai Kai and Chivvay Kai classes. But the MAHQ profiles for Zeta only list them under the Republic of Zeon/Axis - is there a reason for this?

Because the Titans never used them. They were, as noted in the MAHQ profiles, used by their allies/lapdogs in the Republic of Zeon.

Oh ok, I thought something like that might be the case, just didn't realise the Titans worked so closely with Rep. of Zeon troops - then again Zeta has quite a few complex political relationships.

Think of it this way if you're the Titans. You're tasked with taking out Zeon Remnant forces, and other "aggressive" rebellions(read as anyone saying they don't agree with you). Who better to send into battle against space rebels then the former shell, now puppet government of a "nation" you just won a war over? The job gets done, you lose less troops, and regardless of the Zeon casualties, dirty space monkeys die. It's a win win!
