I thought we were not allowed to take anything from the Macross Mecha Manual? I'm sorry if this might seem kinda crass, but I know those images came from it. Especially the Global series, that's they're style of images.

We don't use anything from M3, so I can't be posting this stuff.

Yeah. It was the same with the SRW section too. There was a lot of good stuff over at the Gate of Magus, but we made our own versions of what was there instead of just grabbing what was made there.
If we want the good stuff ourselves, then we'll have to custom make it on our own.

Much appreciated. Thanks fellas.
For help with the Macross submissions, I'd strongly recommend collecting the Macross Chronicle. If the first few issues are any indication, it appears the plan is to include full color pictures of all the Macross mecha. And I dare say the mecha they've profiled so far in the Chronicle look even better than my own coloring work. The Macross Chronicle pictures would make ideal submissions to the MAHQ, so keep an eye out for them.
I'm slowly collecting the Chronicle myself, but if you ever need some scans for the MAHQ, let me know and I'll help.

No one has sent me anything thus far, as Macross stuff tends to come in more slowly here. If you have anything you can scan, I'll be happy to take it.

yeah sorry for that above post, really new to the forums and i read the rules, but don't remember seeing anything bout that (feel free to prove me wrong) i can get shots from the show, shop out the stuff that isn't needed, like backgrounds, and then do some minor editing to the straight from show stuff and submit that. i have a lot free time, so if you need any line art i can get it. again sorry for the miss understanding.

Will do. I'll submit what I have so far.

It's not a forum rule, it's just proper netiquette. The MAHQ and the Macross Mecha Manual cover the same material, but both websites do so in their own ways and by their own hard work. They are companion websites; they are not meant to be exact duplicates of each other.
Plus, it's not a wise idea to take images from another dedicated fansite and submit them here, especially when the owner of that site (me) is also a member of these forums
Nonetheless, no harm done. We'll help the MAHQ using other sources of Macross pictures and both sites will offer material the other doesn't, allowing fans to continue to appreciate both. Besides, as history has shown us with the demise of The Mecha Domain and GundamProject, most fans would agree it pays to have companion websites on the internet (especially for a smaller fandom like Macross, which already suffers from a lack fansites)

Thanks a lot, these are fantastic looking. However, as a future note, if you have any non-Frontier Chronicle lineart to give me, there's a separate stickied thread for Macross stuff. Just makes things easier for me to keep track of.

If someone can scan the November issue of Hobby Japan that'd be great, as it features detailed lineart for Battle Frontier, the VF-171EX, SMS Ghost and Vajra ships.
EDIT: I'll preemptively add that I DO NOT want scans taken from Macross Mecha Manual. If you post scans from there, I'll know it by looking at the images.

Um...sorry I know pretty much everybody here wants me to leave by now but I found this thing on animesuki that has what I think might be lineart of the Ghost V9 and the battle galaxy which i haven't seen on mahq yet just screenshots.

We don't use any lineart at all from M3, whether it's custom colored or black and white.
